^This. Today I just had the worst possible matches I could imagine. I'd leave the lobbies but with this matchmaking thing, I'd just end up in another lobby with the same **** happening again.Bushido Effect wrote...

Even if I try to leave and go to a new game, I just end up back in the same lobby... annoying.

BioWare should roll back this change ASAP. This "fix" helped no one.

Anyone elses friends count go from 10 online at once to 2? Is it the updates or some other bug?
As of this morning (Sunday AM Pacific time) I've been getting disconnected about every half hour or so. I keep getting disconnected in the middle of a match - including twice now when I've actually been the host. Once it pitches me out, I get the "you have been disconnected from the EA servers" message.
I'm not sure what's going on, since as far as I can tell, my local connection is fine. It's either on Bioware's end, or somewhere in between.

A system that punishes people for frequently using the one function to advance within it ranks (promotions) by making it harder to find others the higher your rank is.
A system that matches people by a random number without any value to it other than "time spent on the game", a number that does not indicate anything about player-skill or game-behaviour.
A system that punishes new players, as they will only be matched with other new players in a Co-Op game where experience equals better gear and survivability in the game, making the game effectivly harder for new players who already have a hard time as they don't know **** about it...
I could continue this, but to everyone with a basic level of common sense this Matchmaking by N7 ranks is an abommination that needs to be exterminated LAST WEEK.
BIOWARE: THERE IS NOTHING TO DISCUSS ABOUT THIS! THE SYSTEM IS MORONIC; THE ONE WHO INVENTED IT IS A MORON. JUST SHUT IT DOWN! OLD MATCHMAKING WORKED BECAUSE IT WAS TOTALLY RANDOM; NEW MATCHMAKING IS A PUNISHMENT FOR EVERY PLAYER; OLD AND NEW ONES AND DELAYS LOBBYFILLING TO AN UNREASONABLE TIME FOR A HORD-MODE COOP SHOOTER!
ME 3 is not the only online game out there, BioWare. How about you actually look how other successfull games do their thing, before you change anything to make a total mess out of a perfectly running system? You know, you don't have to do the very same mistakes other companies made during the last 20 years to learn how to make something work. You could just do some research and use the aquired knowledge about online-gaming from the past 2 decades to benefit your game.

Since the patch i'm constantly being thrown in the games-in-progress. It's pretty annoying, especially if you join in the middle of the 7-10th wave.
In fact, I'm glad if I join someone's game in the middle of 10th wave. If you win this wave, you get more than half of money you could get for entire match with much less time investment.
About matchmaking. Yes, this system went pretty bad. Instead, they could use ingame statistics on every player and use it to gather players of equal skill in one match, without letting us know, of course.

COD is so much smoother now..
The old system had flaws, but this new one is 100x worse.

I have never been tossed into the middle or end of games like i have the past few weeks. It is getting ridiculous. I do not want to join a match on wave 10 with the whole team wiped. I do not want to spawn and get grabbed by a phantom from across the map and instakilled before the game even loads up on my screen. I do not want to join a bronze game when I am searching for gold or vice versa. Wtf did they do to the matchmaking?
Friday and Saturday I played maybe 5 matches each morning.(I haven't played yet today) Out of those 5 each day at least 2 of them were on a difficulty level that I wasn’t looking for and were matches already in progress as well. The other 3 took a while to even get a group of 4 together and in most cases the 2 or 3 of us just started shorthanded.
I do not appreciate getting chucked into a difficulty level higher than the one I am looker to join a group in. For me my comfort zone is bronze so why drop me in a silver? At least I have not been dropped into a gold, yet.
This new matchmaking system sucks and BioWare better be doing more than “… discussing internally if these changes should be rolled back.”
This game isn’t worth much of my time as it is and if this matchmaking system stays, then I’m history.
