Do you think when the EC launches, we will have to raise our EMS and GRR again. Or do you think we will be able to jump straight into the good stuff?

Your EMS and GRR are affected by the MP part of the game so I think it depends of how much of that you have at the moment of the launch.
If it's too low I guess you'll have to MP again to raise it.

My guess is that you will simply replay the game from pre-assault on Cronos station (where the game leaves you). So it all depends on your GRR/EMS at that present moment.

They'll probably have at least 2 new map packs for MP, so it would be something new about it for those who leave it alone until days before the EC is released.

Isn't the GRR/EMS value from when you start Chronos Station the one that matter in the end? If so, start the mission, save and don't play ME3 until EC is out.

I think the EC will be nothing more then cut scenes to explain stuff.

Sure, but there will be new map packs and such before the EC ships. So if you play MP in the first place you shouldn't sweat your EMS score --unless you've given up on it, that is.

If you have to play through again then yes. But if you can load an existing save (which I suspect will be the case) then no, it was already locked in.

i thought the ec involves what you did after your 1 of 3 choices?

It should be completely compatible with whatever you have, just like any other dlc they release.
