"It wasn't really my job to figure out where the story should go," he told us. "I didn't personally object to the ending, but Bioware's certainly aware of those who did, and the purpose of the upcoming Extended Cut DLC is to address some of the fans' concerns and desires for clarification."

makes me remember the words a movie fan never wants to hear what to expect from a sequel "dark" and "edgy"

Maybe he should've just stayed quiet like the other VA's and just say he recorded dialogue for EC. Didn't he also say in a previous interview that he liked the ending?

How can you infer that he thinks the ending was crap from that statement? I don't think you can. :mellow:

I found some of the comments funny. In the article, MM said that he hasn't had a chance to play ME3 yet, but he had played 1 and 2 both paragon and renegade. One of the comments said he probably plays as a femshep, and someone replied that she (sic) should, femshep is the best. LOL!

I would interpret what he said to something like that yes =)
But he's right though. It isn't his job to question the writers.

If i were a VA, i'd keep my mouth shut or give a very diplomatic neutral answer. As he said, it wasnt his job to figure out the story, just do his best with his voice acting. Which i think he did great.

So i cannot fault him for not giving away his own opinion about the ending. :)

Cool to know he's doing work for the E.C.. My favorite thing from this whole ending debacle, I thought the ending was great but I didn't like........... makes me lmao every time.

If it were me, I don't know if it would be completely awesome to hear my voice as the protagonist, or too weird hearing my own voice throughout the story. Femshep is best? Ha, you jest.

Never doubted it, they were both probably under contract to return for DLC

And EC is DLC

I'd actually be interested on his and Hale's thoughts on being made to voice the dialogue of the worst genocidal maniac of all history and possibly any fictional setting ever as it pathetically tries to justify it's psychotic and murderous acts.

At the least, this gives concrete evidence that NDAs are running rampant among the actors in terms of the EC, so avoiding questions and revealing little about the content is a result of official measures.

Common sense, but it's something.
