Have you heard Kevin Smith talk about the time he was commissioned to write a Superman Movie? That's my favourite Insane Producer story.

Clarification. There's that word again. :pinched:

There are things that need clarification. If the end events weren't meant to lead to massive starvation on Earth and in the Allied Fleet, that needs to be clarified.

Glad to see he's kept a sense of humor about this

classic....

He hasn't played the game probably because that's stipulated in the NDA as well

Er... why would it be?
More likely he just hasn't found the time, I believe he's been doing a lot of work and convention rounds lately.

Hey, that's the price you pay for asserting your superiority and illustrious experience above others, buddy.

I assign it as a stare down. Casey Hudson and Mac Walters are not the only people who exist in the art world. You'd understand that if you'd ever mentioned in to me in a DM, like I have with others.

You instead chosen to assign hubris to my posts or assign meaning to my jovial mannersim.

You of all people should know how criticism works in the film world. I believe in direct, on the table criticism and sometimes it gets ugly. That's how it works.

I'm an ***hole, I'll never say otherwise but I don't think I'm better than anyone here.

I feel like Meer is holding back on his opinion, but of course, I'm most likely wrong.

I like the guy, and I have absolutely no qualms with Casey Hudson or Mac Walters. But professionals must always be prepared for criticism, and they obviously weren't.

Which is why this debacle has spiraled out of control. They ran away and paid the price.

I understand why they did but their credibility dies with quite a few people when that happens.

Just remember, this game could have been worse, it could have been ultima 9.

Shepard: "What's a turian?"
Shepard:"Why are the quarians rebelling against the geth?"

Shepard:"What are those black ships attacking earth?"
Hackett: "We're not entirely sure."

Kirahhe: "I was in the STG."
Shepard: [shortly after mordins death] "What's does STG mean?"

I found some of the comments funny. In the article, MM said that he hasn't had a chance to play ME3 yet, but he had played 1 and 2 both paragon and renegade. One of the comments said he probably plays as a femshep, and someone replied that she (sic) should, femshep is the best. LOL!

Femshep is pretty craptastic, actually.

I prefer Meer.

He actually sounds like a real human.

Hale makes me very aware I'm listening to a VA.

I do not expect any more than yet another huge disappointment with the EC. I guess I can only be surprised in a positive way... but I hope Bioware is aware of what kind of reaction this will generate if they s*rew us over with the EC as well.... but no one can be that blind, arrogant and stupid at the same time...

I hate it.

It drips with arrogance. To be clear I'm not accusing Meer of that, but rather Bioware/EA.

"Oh, our fans don't like the amazing ending we crafted? They clearly don't understand the level of genius writing and artistic integrity involved. Lets create DLC that explains it to these simpletons."

You only see arrogance in it because that's what you want to see. Honestly Bioware could say just about anything right now with genuine intentions, and the cynical fans would still pin it as mean-hearted sarcasm.

More than anything I expect a simple net cast.

That is to say the Talimancers will get Tali and everything.

Can you imagine the MADNESS if that didn't happen?

I'd be very curious to hear a follow-up interview from Mark Meer after his playthrough(s) of ME3. After all, he knows where the story went as he was doing the voice-work, but there's a large issue of presentation as far as the ending goes (along with other opinions about the ending) that getting his perspective on-from BOTH sides-would be very interesting and enlightening.

I'd also be curious of Jennifer Hale's opinion as well, but I have yet to see an interview where she has indicated she plays video games and the ME series in particular. Please correct me if I'm wrong on that.

Meanwhile the Mirandamancers will get nothing and we'll all eventually drift off to other things.

I expect a net cast.

At this point I don't need dialouge. I just want to see her.

I mean they could even use other dialouge that they didn't use....

Jack too.

My question is the word 'Expansion' the reporter's or Marks?

There is a big difference between a typical DLC and an EXPANSION DLC...

Yep. When something is broken, usually someone tries to fix it. Bioware try to clarify it, it seems.

She doesn't play games. Considering her work schedule it's strange she's even got time to sleep or eat.

If all they were doing was clarifying we would have had it by now...

Did anyone ever, you know read the rest of the announcement, that was you know, written before production began? By someone who works in PR.

Just wait.

She did apparently play ME2 after people wouldn't stop bugging her about it. Wonder how far she got.
