 Okay, so I've decided to make a new character to import from ME1 to ME2 and then eventually into ME3.

But I have a question: if I were insane and wanted to use the Shotgun bonus power instead of Singularity so I wouldn't have to waste any points in Pistols (Yes, I know they have the best DPS. I prefer DPA on my Vanguards), would my Shotgun still get the damage bonus from my class skill?

Naturally this would be a Nemesis so that Master Lift can make up for the lack of Singularity.

Edit: Nevermind, I can't seem to take Shotgun as my bonus power. Well, that kills that idea.

You can't have it as a bonus because it is a Vanguard ability anyway. You get it after putting some points into the pistols skill.
