I browsed through the topics over the last year and none of them seemed relevant to me...so here goes.
I recently purchased NWN Complete for PC. I have the disk, this is not a download. I haven't downloaded ANY player created modules or HAK files. I have updated the game to 1.023 (FINAL). I run the game as Administator on Windows 7.
I can play the game just fine solo, but when I try to log into a Multiplayer game through GameSpy, I get a "CD-Key is unauthorized" message and I cannot log-in to ANY game.
I have never been asked for a CD-Key at any point other then during the installation of the game(s). Any info/help would be appreciated.
Yet another CD key topic.

Long story short.
The server that checks all our keys is down. That is why you are getting that error message. There is a work around at the top page here. Just follow those instructions and you'll be up and playing MP very soon.

I used the Bioware Authenitication bypass and that worked, however, my original issue is unchanged. Whenever, I go to log into ANY server, I get the previously mentioned error. The only difference is that I don't wait 3 minutes for the Bioware Server to tell me it failed and to "Carry On!". This happens regardless of how I attempt to login. (via GameSpy, Direct Connect, etc) If the fix you were talking about is not the Bioware Server issue, could you link it please, as I am a blind idiot?

Following the shutdown of the BW Authentication server, many PWs have added their own CDKey checking routines to help prevent account hacking. Try contacting the administrators of the server you want to join. The Server Details screen will often show a URL to try.
