No, you can see a hair of someone in exactly the same spot. I think that with femShep with less wide body model it will be the same scene.

Just paused in 720p, and that IS Asheley!! I can make out the white stripes of her armor's but the hair seems a bit shorter.

You can't claim that they used her model for the background if she was present in one scene and not the other. She was way too close to that nuke to survive, so the only two logical conclusions are that she is either not real in this scene, or Virmire never happened.

Maybe one of the scenes were done while they were going with some strange "I see dead people in real life" angle of the dream sequences and then they cut it out and kept the already rendered scenes hoping no one would notice Ashley.

Still weird.
