Downloaded and installed from d2d. i keep getting the error msg, cannot connect to ea core? what should i do are where should i go for help? Im confused. is this a server side problem or mine. is anyone else having this problem?

I'm having the exact same problem. Dl'd from direct2drive, it installed properly. But it fails to initialize because it can't connect to EA core. I contacted EA's customer support and they have no idea what to do. Supposedly getting an "expert" on it.

What worked for me was entering the game code into the EA Download Manager, then launching the game from there (you won't have to reinstall).

I have the same problem, got it from D2D. I used the code already to activate the game, so installing the ea download manager was pointless as it said it was already activated.
So, has nobody been able to help with this?
