Tali would hack the catalyst and replace his persona data with Shepard's.

Bayonetta would summon a massive demon which would destroy the citadel the reapers and the catalyst all at once, and then float down to earth whilst chewing a lollipop.

Naah, the Nameless One would find out that it was he himself that programmed the Catalyst ages ago and would activate that hidden mode that sucked Starchild and the Reapers to the Nine Hells. He would than smirk, follow them and beat the cr*p out of them ...

Then he electrifries starkid takes Shepard back down the elevator and While Bastila is healing Shepard, Revan reconfigures the Crucible to simultaneously order the Reapers to shut down and Start producing Dreadnoughts, ala "Star Forge".

 Master Chief:  Cortana would probably say the Catalyst sounds like it's reached the end of it's life cycle and gone crazy.  MC woould then find the Citadel's Mass Effect generators and lob some grenades in to them and ride the burning wreckage back down to Earth.

Prophet/Bishop: Would ignore the boy and use his nanites to take over the control mechanism and use it to destroy the Reapers with out killing himself or the other synthetics.

Asura:  Would go in to a rage at the babbling AI and ould blow up the citadel, crucibal, all the reapers, the victory and half the globe.  Yes, he gets that angry.

Isaac Clark:  Issac would probably think he was hallucinating again and would choose destroy.

Monitor (space kid) wants to activate halo (catalyst), which would screw everyone, but hey, the flood (reapers) would be defeated! MC tells (space kid) to go to hell, and spends the entire last half of the game figuring out an alternative. Our lovably gullible Shepherd, rather than searching for an alternative, thinks for a moment before asking, 'what flavors does it come in?'
