The second I played this class I knew it was my favorite, and I've finally found my favorite way to build it in order to take advantage of everything it has to offer. Most people seem to be of the opinion that the way to go is skipping Clusters entirely or skipping Flamer entirely: it isn't. This is a Gold-tested, scoreboard-approved build that trivializes the other difficulties.

Bloodlust: Regen, Power, Regen
Flamer: Damage, Damage, Armor
Clusters: Damage, Max Capacity
Resilience: Power/Cap, Power
Fitness: Health&Shields

The optimal weapon, unless otherwise patched, is of course the Reeger, because as I shared on day 1 of this DLC, you can fire it and Flamer simultaneously, for ridiculous amounts of Banshee-burning DPS. Nothing can really top that, but cooldowns also don't matter (Flamer cancels like Cloak) so feel free to sub your biggest baddest weapons in too if you'd prefer not to cross streams Ghostbusters style. Claymore is particularly awesome. For gear, Grenade Capacity is where it's at.

The key to success is getting three kills right off the bat each wave to be able to tank hard. Cluster spam gets it done, stream crossing gets it done, Claymores and Krysaes and Graals (oh my) get it done, and missiles certainly get it done, especially on the later waves. Between the insane amounts of regen and the best dodge in the game, dying should not come easy to you once you've stacked your kills. Some Flamer bursts followed by a lethal Cluster throw will also net you a lot of Fire Explosions, which are the most damaging in the game. You obviously won't be pulling them off like the Drell Adept does Bio'splosions since the Clusters need to deliver the killing blow, but it's really not that difficult to deliver said blow with those beasts. And if you've got a Biotic teammate to prime your Cluster dets, kiss losing goodbye.

So the damage output is certainly enough to keep the kill feed going, and in turn that kill feed keeps you going. Absolutely gdlk class, and so damn fun.

So that's 6/6/5/5/4? I've been running 6/6/6/4/4 with basically the same specs, except taking the extra damage on clusters. I can see the logic behind taking power damage instead, because you trade 50% damage bonus in clusters for a 15% bonus in both clusters and the flamer. Not bad.

Yeah, dude. Definitely a great alternative. My main goal was to get that Flamer damage up as high as possible since Clusters are already pretty great even without the last rank. Either build should melt faces no problem though. I really can't wait to get rank V of my Grenade Capacity gear lol.

8 clusters would just be disgusting. The ability to have 48 cluster grenades in one match just by using thermal clips...swoon.  I can't wait for someone to make a video throwing all 48 on extraction.

I absolutely do not. And it's unfortunate, because Omega Red's always been a favorite villain of mine lol.

There's jut not enough synergy between their powers for me. It seems like it's easier to detonate a Smashed enemy with Lash, when it feels like it should be the other way around. As it stands, the two don't gel well for me, and I'm thinking maybe Singularity actually might be the real key to this guy, but haven't been able to experiment enough yet.

Yep, I just prefer that little bit of extra health to bring my regen pool to 1000+ over either the completely unnecessary weight reduction or the great but not as necessary to me weapon damage evolutions for rank 6 of Vorcha Resilience. You already deal death so quickly and avoid it so well that either rank 4 of Fitness for more health or rank 6 of Resilience for weapon damage would work. All personal preference there.

So, on this build you mostly use weapons and powers over melee?

Absolutely. I'm sure it's Gold viable to go the melee route instead, especially with the way melee kills can buff weapon damage, but I just do not need to melee when I can already put out as much damage as he does. I'd rather focus on tanking and power damage.

I want a good Vorcha build so bad but I can't decide on what powers I'm willing to sacrifice or if I can carry around a second weapon.

Which is why I find the Sentinel vastly superior. Clusters don't compete with Flamer's cooldown and do great burst damage to detonate fire explosions off Flamer or Biotic Explosions off teammates' powers or just outright demolish trash mobs on their own. Carnage doesn't hold a candle to that kind of synergy.

I like this build, great synergy among the powers and weapons. Thanks snakes. Do you use a second weapon for long range?
