I searched specifically for bronze and got connected to a FBWGG match.  So now I'm in a game thinking its bronze, only to very quickly realize its Gold. I'm a lvl 16 Phoenix Vanguard, probaly one of the worst classes for gold with a crappy pistol equipped and no equipment.  Then not long after a lvl 1 Phoenix Adept was connected and he said the same thing, searched for bronze yet connected to a gold.

I have been experiencing alot of problems since the patch, constant lag where before I was experinecing none, enemies shooting me through walls, delays on using consumables where I hit medigel but it doesn't activate till I bleed out then my corpse stands up medigel used but I'm still dead and in that gold match I experienced my first ever game freeze. 

This is pretty ridiculous that the matchmaking is this messed up to the point that its ignoring your search perameters.

This isn't actually new, it happened before patch, though it was extremely uncommon (I've had something similiar happen twice, and I've played hundreds of games.)

It would be nice if they would include a check box that allows us to opt-out of joining games in progress.

I searched for Firebase Ghost and got Jade and Glacier, 4 times in a row.

Yeh it happens . I was going to level my level 1 Krogan sentinel one time and got tossed into a gold match when I was searching for bronze.

The funniest was being thrown into a game at wave 11. As soon as I loaded into the game there was 3 seconds left.

Ever since the dlc Ive been connected to an inprogress game almost every other time and I experienced a high amount of lag in those games. Where as i experience near none when I start a match from the lobby. Its becoming really annoying.

Been happening since day 1, happens to me once in awhile. Sometimes, if I think my character/loadout can hang, I'll run the gold. Otherwise, see ya! and hope you find another body.

Yeah, I have had this problem a lot and have been kicked out of more than one lobby and felt like a fool.  Does anyone know the etiquette? Should you stay around and try to help or shut the game down and get out?

Ah, this happened to me once... and I was using my worst class (infiltrator) that I was trying to get back to level 20. Lucky for me, it was Firebase White, with geth as the enemy, and I knew where to go to camp.

I set search to Random Gold, joined a match, proceeded to kick ass and feel awesome about myself, then noticed it was on Bronze. Very disappointing.

At the time I was just experimenting with shotguns, which I rarely use, and was completely useless. Heck they would revive me and I wouldn't even be able to get out the door to run away before going down again.

I remember this happening once when my character was really low level, I was like man it's taking forever to take this guys down... Still 6 waves on Gold is much better credits and experience than a full match on Bronze so it's best to just stick it out even if you don't make it all the way.

True, but at the same time I don't want to slow the others down. . .

As long as you aren't dying all the time then you doing something is better than no one doing nothing. Heck even if you are dying all the time they can let you bleed out and it's the same as you not being there to begin with.

when i drop into a gold round and my character isn't cut out to survive i make a mad dash to the group and try to hide and provide moral support since i couldn't help other wise, some times they get it that your not up to snuff and let you cap the objectives so you can be of some use
