GPR with IEA, are weapon dmg bonuses worth it?

Taking my GPR with IEA active to the range I've noticed by far the majority of my damage comes from my IEA explosive bursts. I played with the armor piercing mod and it didn't seem to make much difference. Do weapon damage bonuses increase the damage of IEA explosions? The weapon damage bonuses increase the low DPS of the GPR enough to be worth it versus taking + shield gear? Alternatively do bonuses to power damage increase the IEA explosive damage? If so then perhaps going with +power damage gear would be best even for a soldier.

I wish someone with a class in statistics under their belt would do a spread sheet on the weapon damage in ME3.

Weapon damage bonuses DO NOT increase the damage of IEA (Incendiary explosive ammo) explosions.

Weapon damage bonuses DO increase the damage of weapons, but in my opinion, will not make any noticeable difference on low-damage weapons like the Geth Pulse Rifle (GPR).

Power damage bonuses should increase the damage of IEA explosive damage, but I am not sure that they actually do. I think the explosive damage is a flat damage value that cannot be increased by +damage bonuses. And even if it does, you will probably not notice the damage difference since the 100 damage (I think it 100 damage) of the IEA explosion is relatively small.
