I generally don't quit. If I do it's because of: 1. servers deciding I didn't really need to finish that game, 2. something comes up irl (doesn't happen often, but it can), 3. game locks up completely and have to restart the xbox.

It's most annoying when the game freezes or the servers drop me late in game, and it usually happens during wave 10 or extraction, ensuring i spent the time playing and get 0 credits. I tend to stop playing for a while if it happens lol.

(note: I play silver only unless i'm leveling a character or trying something different and I don't want to be dead in 5 seconds, lol. Not good enough to play gold yet.)

Whoever hosts a game may be able to set the mission settings, but they can't change it without you knowing. Just pay attention to what it says on the top. If you don't like it than leave the lobby, just that simple. I also don't understand how someone could possibly confuse a gold match with bronze/silver. People just needed to stop "readying up" before looking at the mission settings. That's their own stupidity.

If I get dropped into a game made by the people whose lobby I dropped out of 4 times (yes, it has happened) then I leave. No, I don't want to farm FBWGG. Thanks.

Lag has been a reason for me. By "lag" I mean "suddenly I teleport to another part of the map" instead of "seems a bit sluggish".

Lag and personal issues I get. It's the ones who throw a fit when they die then leave as we go to revive them after risking our butts running across the map to reach them that's annoying.

I feel the need to vent. The past 3 games I played people left a gold match within the first two rounds. Why do people keep doing that? What a waste of all the equipment I had on. Nothing pisses me off more. [smilie]http://social.bioware.com/images/forum/emoticons/devil.png[/smilie]

answer lag.....the real question would be why do people with slow internet try and host.

Unfortunately, when i toss a throw at an assualt trooper (on Silver) who is standing 3 feet in front of me and gets off enough shots to kill me before getting hit by my throw, it's not worth the pain of dying and becoming a burden to the team...i'm not happy about it to be sure :(

How do you know they're actually leaving? The servers are down about every three hours or so like clcokwork, and people with strict NAT (ie anyone who wants secure internet ever) have had connection roblems since day one due to BW's choice of protocols.
