Sigh...another Nerf thread.
"Everytime I scope in on something it blows up from some ^*^$%#$ with a Krysae".....Shoot faster, you are seeing a gib when you scope in because the guy with the Krysae is shooting faster than you are. Nerfing the gun won't change that.
"But, but, but, they only have to AOE aim with the Krysae so they can aim and shoot faster than I can."
Yeah...you know what else is true? Half the time when I am playing a sniper the moment I get my shot lineup some &^$%ing Vanguard or Adept uses a power on the target that screws up my shot alignment. Maybe we should remove all powers from the game that can stagger or move an enemy so it won't be a concern. Sounds totally fair to me, afterall them enjoying their class is hampering my ability to enjoy mine.
"The Krysae is cheap because it can take out multiple enemies." So can a Striker, a Falcon, and if you are playing on lower difficulties, someone who brings Moar Dakka with an upgraded Revenant. Not a whole lot of multikills to be had on higher difficulties with the weapon.
"The Krysae is not a sniper rifle!"
The game is full of weapons which do not "fit" into the category where they are listed. Let me see, Shotgun Pistols, Flamethrower-esque shotguns, SMG's that can churn out sustained fire like an MG-42....the barking does not help one's case.
"Its not fair!"
Life isn't fair, and if everything in a game is tailored to what you think is fair, there will be plenty of other people who do not agree with you.
The Krysae is an interesting toy, but it can be as much of a pain as it is a boon. When trying to focus fire on a Geth Prime and his drones and turrets keep intercepting my shots (to say nothing of his friends) the supposed godlike status of the weapon is lost. When it takes me twice as long to bring down an Atlas, Geth Prime, etc as it would with my Widow, the strength of the argument is lost.
There are better things to spend time complaining about.
