Please, for the sake of the people who have not tried it out. Shut. UP.
PLEASE, BioWare, fix the Krysae Sniper Rifle!

Actually, I've seen a pretty damn good spread of classes in gold. Engineers, soldiers, the occasional sentinel, adepts, and of course some infiltrators.Heri wrote...
Sorry, all of you who think it shouldn't be nerfed are just plain WRONG. Even at level 1 the Krysae absolutely destroys everything, the only thing holding it back from being god-like would be a bigger clip size. Seriously, this gun mows everything down.
And not only that, it takes NO SKILL TO USE. It's a sniper rifle, yet you can definitely miss enemies (according to the crosshair) by a certain amount and still score a hit. This gun is the very antithesis of what sniping should be about.
It's the ultimate noob cannon, and will do nothing except ruin this game. As if there wasn't enough class homogenization already (I'd love to know what % of players in gold pugs are rolling infiltrators/engineers), you people want this entire game in another week to be infiltrator + Krysae or GTFO? Get real.
Wanting to nerf things has nothing to do with the scoreboard. Some of us actually LIKE performing equally well with multiple classes, and games with good balance allow you to do exactly that. I'm not saying you should be able to make AA snipers gold viable, but there should be at least one spec/weapon combination for each class that performs at a high level.
Instead, right now we've got sniper infiltrator + Krysae >>>>>>> everything else. It's stupid, because if I want to play an AJ or TS I shouldn't have to feel like I'm playing a gimped class.
Fix. The. Damn. Krysae.
Also, a lot of players haven't been using it due to its debated removal of fun. I only carry it as back up if I don't know how my team will perform.

Like really it took like 6 shots to kill a single Cerberus Centurion.
Which is was ridicules

Then you are using it incorrectly. With gear, ammo, and rail amp perks preceded by a debuffer of some sort it makes any of those targets vanish in seconds.

I think if it is to be nerfed, which it will be, then let it be the ammo and clip size (3-2). I personally don't agree with nerfs on good guns, only buffs on bad ones.
I agree this will be hit with the nerfbat but personally wouldn't mind them reducing the splash damage and maybe a slight reduction in damage rather than clip capacity. I think if it was given a gentle adjustment it would still be a fine weapon yet.

I'm trying to understand why you can't play an AJ because that would make you feel "gimped?" There are plenty of enemies for everyone....I don't understand the problem. I am always really happy to see a sniper using this gun because it will destroy the mooks that usually end up killing people and I can focus on the big stuff.

That. (and all the other stuff that went with it, but I didn't want to make the post too long.)
Really. I got that thing, used it a couple of times, and confined it to the shelf because it was so damn overpowered it made me feel like I was cheating.
And saying "Stronger weapons are good because they let us win matches more easily" is crap, because the whole point of having different difficulty levels is for the players who want a challenge to have a chance at getting one. With the Krysae, there's just no challenge at all anymore, even on gold. And that kind of negates the point of it being gold.
Plus, this is just going to make the adepts hate the infiltrators even more because with that aoe, there's no way they can avoid shooting the blue glowing mook.
And it takes all the fun out of the infiltrator, because you don't have to aim at all anymore.

Explain how is it unfair in a co-op game. Otherwise i'm just gonna start kicking people who complains or kicks people for using the krysae.

Your suggestions are reasonable. So, in combination we have come to a duel concensus, slight damage decrease, ammo clip reduced from 3-2, and a slightly smaller splash damage radius. We should also increase the weight because as of right now a Krysae X and a Reager X together, weigh as much as just a Javelin X-note, weight does not matters all that much on an infiltrator.
Just to anyone who wants to attack me. I tried deffending this gun to no end on the other forumes and was completely ignored.

Well, maybe now I will use it more often.
Do it, I've never been kicked for using one. What usually happens is that people in the game want one of their own. Sounds like Bioware succeded in creating more fun for 90% of their players with these weapons.
Whiny elitits don't realize that they are a small minority, if you're lucky you'll never actually encounter one in a lobby.

Yep, this is my big issue with this rifle. Tried it out earlier on a level 1 SI and as soon as I hit TC 6 everything that shows up in the scope dies in one or two hits. Not sure how the projectiles work but it seems to have a huge hit box or some thing.

Yep. Actually, if they could make the projectiles explode on contact only even in its current state that would knock it back into real world usefulness instead of what it is now. By that I mean no more aerial bursts. If it hits the floor or the target then fine. But zinging overhead in the general vicinity and detonating is a bit much. It would still be useful when hitting light cover I think since it has piercing built in.

I can say I have and, I will say this:
When a gun already established as quote on quote "over-powered" gun (Geth Plasma Shotgun) that is debated over and over if it should be nerfed, then another gun comes out and outperforms it's level X version...
....while LEVEL 1, maybe something should be considered about it. And this is coming from someone who has well over 2000 kills with the GPS saying its good.
ON THE OTHER HAND, while this gun is considered to some to be too good, It helps players who are not as good, be able to pull their own weight in Gold matches, and not have to camp FBWGG, and didn't we all want that in the 1st place?
That is hardly anything...
With the Krysae I have already gotten 20-35 of the 75 Sniper Rifle Kills medals.
It has only been out for a few days.
If that doesn't tell you something...

Very true, no gun should be able to just completely miss and still kill its target-strangely this is the best tactic to kill Guardians.

Sorry to quote myself here but I forgot that the built in piercing is bugged currently. If it was working as described it would be even more powerful than it already is.
