The character doesn't show up normally, nor in the Manage Characters, but under the Profile Diagnostics, it still shows, except with 3 red "X"es.

Bump, can a Dev help me delete a character if it's not visible?

If you click on Manage Characters, you'll find a delete button for any of your characters on here.

Edit.....sorry, just ignore this post. I'm not functioning properly today, so I missed the bit about the character not being visible.

I have same problem.



What you can try is to create a new character with the same name. Equip some items then save the game.

This should upload the character to replace the one still stuck in the profile.



After it shows up on the character screen again which could take 24 hours you can try deleting it again.

Try completing a quest so it updates that story thing. I think the data is uploaded in large chunks.

it worked with me.

I created a new character that had the same name and race and it overwritten the old character.

The old character had been deleted a couple of weeks ago but was still listed in the diagnostoc tool with the xml file missing.

The new character has overwritten the old character in the diagnostic tool.

Anybody here have error code 1005 "extra unexpected files uploaded for this character"? It shows that I have 100 out of 100 files uploaded but only am using 1.7 mb of storage. I wish there were some way it could show me what these files are so I could delete them.. I'm not sure if just deleting my character would get rid of those extra invisible files or not. Don't really want to delete the character and then have the files remaining not allowing me to upload anything else.

I have the 1005 error on my Mage character, but its only 6 files for her compared to 4 for the other working characters on upload.
