Trying to get into a lobby, got kicked 6 straight  times, I don't give a crap if you don't like my Krogan (I tend to be a support krogan too instead of a smash everything in sight type) you can bite me, i'mma play the way i want

Best of all, the one lobby had some redneck on a headset who threw slurs at me for about a minute straight. (I wasn't aware i was a (insert nasty slur for same sex people here) but i guess i must be since he said it so many times

So yeah, i'm done. The community is too elite for it's own good

Or he just ran into some of the worst the game's playerbase has to offer?  Something that is all too common as well.

Sorry to see your situation OP, but it is the loss of those that kicked you.  A Krogan who isn't constantly headbutting everything can be quite the powerful ally.

I never care what weapons people carry and unless it's gold i don't mind low level chars as well.

If he is on xbox, no, it's not necessary for them to kick you for whatever stupid reason they come up with.  I was kicked out of a FBWG Bronze match, cause I was only level 10, and the dude below me was kicked for being a Krogan Vanguard.  

Yes, they specifically told us they were kicking us for those reasons, IN A BRONZE MATCH!

Don't let a bad experience with one idiot put you off. I'd wager the vast majority of players are happy to play with anyone any time.

I kick people out my Gold lobbies on a somewhat frequent basis. It's a judgement thing. If your loadout suggests that you aren't a very knowledable player, chances are you'll get the boot. That includes things like carrying heavy weapons on an Adept, ever equipping the Avenger, or using a class that's only at Level 4. It also hurts your cause if you don't have a mic.

Being kicked sucks, but what also sucks is getting into a game with a teammate that is dead weight. Unfortunately this describes the majority of Vanguards and they get a bad rap as a result. My advice would be to find a buddy. At least then being kicked will never be an issue.

Krogan players should carry good weapons because it's a weapon-dependent class. If you went in with a widow I or something then you shouldn't wonder why you might get kicked. The people there want players who have the most potential to beat the game, that is pretty understandable.

I kinda know how you feel. While it's fun running around and smashing things, I tend to reign that back until later, when the big guys are bearing down on my squad's flank. Then it's a bumrush aggro grab to buy them some time.

I tend to shout, "REMEMBER MY NOBLE SACRIFICE" over the headset.

A Krogan melee artist coupled with a Batarian soldier and either a Vorcha or Geth melee infiltrator and with Geth engineer running support it's a murder train recipe for the ages I LOVE when I get into a game where people use the murder train strategy. Otherwise krogans are pretty much your standard wall and can pack a punch.
Love me some krogans on gold don't kick em they need a chance people! XD

What would you suggest as the best way to play Vanguard? (wavering slightly off topic)

Also, the only way people will become knowledgeable is if others help them. If that means talking blindly over the mic and trying to pass tips on we should all try to do it.

Which platform?  I generally find xbox players to be more unwholesome when compared to PS3 players.

See it this way, if those guys would had been real elites, not elitists wannabes, they'd be giving a **** about your choices and just let you game....

When you get to join the good or sane gamers, they will be moreso curious if your loadout works and not instantly scream it could'nt

I suggest finding the legion, it grew big recently and i don't know or fought alongside all, but theres many that let you play whatever you want

WTF....Bronze kicking is getting silly.

I got kicked as a Justicar using the Harrier....they told me to load the Carnifex X....she's specced as a tank, with AR passive and fast Reave recharge. This was on Silver....

I also got kicked from Gold for using the Krysae X on my GE, and he is specced for sniper rifles, fast recharge, full healing turret, chain overload (no Hunter mode because of migraines). Maybe people should look at those skill trees....again they asked me to change to Carnifex.

Feel free to join my games if your on PSN, I don't care whats classes or guns people use, aslong as they have some common sense, if its golds then I tend to draw the line at people under the rank of 12.

And yes I let randoms of rank 12 join me and my mate and most the time it works out fine lol. Main reason why I always host, its elite free.
