Quick question about combo 1. I've been toying around with hitting smash then half way through going for a heavy melee. I'm almost certain that this allows smash to go to completion (most of the time, have to time it right), but I am wondering if that is what you mean by '(1) Smash -> Cancel into Heavy Melee'.

Would you still suggest to definitely max out the biotic charge to rank 6 despite just using it as a more defensive or, directly judging from your post, third tier attack? ^^

Definitely. You need those shields when you charge in, and Lash, the neglected power, is more of an all-or-nothing skill, not gaining much value until it's at Rank 6. If it were a choice between rank 6 of Charge vs. Lash I'd see an argument, but as it is you need Fitness maxed, Alliance Training at 5, and Smash maxed, so there aren't enough points left.

I wonder if the rank 6 choice for smash should be "armor damage" instead of "impact radious". Sure that means you have to get closer, but a 75% armor buff means you can be MUCH better in silver and gold matches, where enemies armor gives considerably better damage reduction on a per-hit-basis.

Any thoughts?

That's only really helpful against Reapers, and even then that only helps against the bosses. The more crowd control, the better. Increasing the radius and potential targets means more dead/staggered enemies between melee and charge attacks, and more potential targets primed for biotic detonations.

So it might be better if you only fight Reapers, and you're not actively charging/melee attacking large groups of enemies.

On a side note, OP and I use nearly the same build :wizard:
I just use a better weapon. :bandit:
