Doesn't matter. Contact them and they'll look up your data. They'll know if you're eligible or not.

Ok, guide updated:
- corrected some errors in the text and followed some useful suggestions (thank you Nasulprak);
- updated text formatting;
- updated the blurb to fit every kind of future operation;
- other minor edits.

It's always been this way for me. I've always had gameplay feedback on, and yet I haven't gotten a single weekend reward the normal way. Obviously I'm not alone.

By now, I'm really familiar with contacting EA support via live chat and e-mail, but not everyone is...which is why I think the OP (zerozen00) deserves major props for creating and updating this guide thread. This is a real service to the community.

Of course, this shouldn't be necessary. But since the automated system keeps failing us...people need to know about this.

My perception is that the automated system only seems to be working(for the most part) well for people living in the US.Me and 4 of my friends located in Asia have yet to receive a commendation pack in a timely manner for any of the operations we have completed.We all waited for two days from the time of the first post in the forum about someone receiving their commendation pack before contacting support.

I think 2 days is a fair amount of waiting and it didn't seat easy with us that by then, there were plenty of posts about people receiving their commendation packs already.

I'm inclined to think the same. I'm located in Singapore, and I've NEVER once gotten my commendation packs properly. But, I never have problems with victory packs. I think it's obvious enough that the way the comm pack is coded/granted to players is different than the victory packs. Another friend of mine here does not get his comm packs too.

Here's the thing - my copy is a U.S boxed retail from Amazon.com, while my friend's is a local (EA Singapore) assembled and printed retail copy... so between us two there are no similarities there. So I don't think it's the software; both of us still don't get our comm packs. As it stands, the problem SEEMS to be something of a geographic nature - the ability to properly get comm packs possibly tied to certain IP addresses?


P.S. Zen, I use the automated feature in Origin, but anyway just wanted to say great guide, upped, and bookmarked, and hope this gets a sticky.

Solved my problem. As always, support helps. I only wish I would receive commendation packs without having to contact support every challenge.

Brilliant guide thanks- have used this last two events now due to no comm pack.

i'm in the UK, and I've noticed that I have been having this prob with not getting the comm packs (no probs getting the vic pack each time) since BW uploaded patch 1.02, definitely since patch 1.03.
.anyone else found this? i have emailed BW, hopefully they'll take note.

Thanks so much for this guide.

Wanted to update my experience for future reference. XBOX 360

I tried to do this two ways. The first way was a live chat. I talked with Live Chat late Tuesday night. He said that the pack wasn't available to be added at that time and was unable to help me. He took down my email address and said he would add the pack when it was available. I didn't hear anything back from that open ticket for almost two days so I tried another way.

Thursday (yesterday) I took the email route and followed the instructions and in less than 30 minutes I received an email back saying the Commendation pack was added to my account. I logged in and sure enough it was there.

Also wanted to add that I do not have "Upload feedback to EA" turned on. I just doubled check and it is in fact turned OFF in my settings.

I was getting the "service temporarily unavailable" screen so I followed this:

go to ea.com. Log in from THERE with your EA account address and

When I try and log in at ea.com I get "Authentication error: timed out"

I know I'm using the right e-mail and password because when I put in the wrong e-mail or password on purpose as a test it instantly tells me the "e-mail or password is incorrect"  How come it "times out" when I put in the correct details but knows instantly when the details ar incorrect, ea nohelp is beginning to annoy me a great deal.

I've contacted them via e-mail and got a reply today. The support guy said that they don't have commendation packs for operation savage yet, and that I should contact them after a few days.

I guess I'll try again tommorow or something.

This is for both PS3 and XBOX 360 right? and only if you complete the challenge the operations gives you right? How about if you don't complete it and message EA?
