I've already played it on PC, but my friend is just about to start on XBox. The problem is that he doesn't have XBox Live, and beyond that, his system seems unable to even detect an internet connection (we brought it over to my house and it failed to recognize the ethernet that was plugged into it; tried restarting my router and all that) even just to download patches and DLC.
My question comes down to this: I want him to have the best experience possible with ME3; I turned him onto the games in the first place and, while I actually liked the ending, I don't know how he'll feel about it, plus he won't even be able to get the Extended Cut DLC, so he's stuck with only the ending he gets. So I'd at least like him to be able to pick whichever color of the three, but since he'll have none of the DLC carry over from 2 and its accompanying War Assets and he won't be able to bring up his Galactic Readiness, I don't know what will be able to help him.
I imagine the Galaxy at War apps won't be able to help him either, since he won't be able to link them to his account on his XBox, either.
Will there be any way for him to get all of the ending options? If his XBox is never online does the Readiness percentage not even factor into it? What can I do to help him get the best of ME3?
Friend lacks XB Live; How can he get all ending choices?

Can you swap hard drives to update his? GR stays frozen when offline, so you'll need to get his GR up somehow.

If you really wanted to, you could mod his save file and pad on some extra War Asset points if possible. You won't get in trouble as long as you don't mess with the multiplayer, which shouldn't be a problem since he can't connect in the first place.
A better way, if it can be done and not be seen as modding the multiplayer, is to see if you can change his Galaxy at War Readiness to 100%. As soon as he can connect to LIVE, it should update to it's true value, but, as stated, that shouldn't be a problem.

You can check the modding thread: http://social.biowar.../index/10759911
I haven't tried it, so I can't offer any insight, but that might be the only solution to your problem for now.

I'm on my phone right now, but if I remember to I'll hunt down a old YouTube video tomorrow that showed me how to get my old white xbox to recognise my router signal, I used to have this same problem before I got my slim but once you know how to get around it its actually pretty simple.

you most likely have to enter the password for you internet connection on his xbox when its plugged in its not a matter of your router not working but more of an security issue your router will not let anyone use your signal unless authorized to. you have to get his system to recognize your signal by letting him access it in his settings, it should be under network connections. hope this helps

Sorry that I didn't reply any sooner, and thanks for everyone's advise.
He ended up finishing a lot quicker than I thought he would, so I wouldn't have gotten any of this info to him in time; he chose an ending that didn't require higher Readiness. He then started a new game, but then his XBox red-ringed, so... yeah.
