i'd just like jowan as a playable character in adlc, he was one of my favourite non-playable characters and i felt a bit sorry for him. but if not just a continuation of the story would be nice.

In the eplilogue it always says there are still roving bands of Darkspawn that are causing trouble though out Ferleden. I think they need to have a DLC where Duncan and possibly King Cailan are Darkspawn generals and the PC has to defeat them. Can you imagine the whinny scenes with Alistar? Pure Gold! :)

I think there should be a continuation mod dealing with a story related to your ending. i think hypothetically it would be something like:

With the fifth blight defeated nearly a year ago the newly crowned King Allistair Is busy rooting out and destroying Roving bands of Darkspawn in The free marches and Ferelden with no less than a small army of Allied wardens at his side

Meanwhile The princess-consort Remains in denerim With the Arl of redcliffe dealing with numerous issues facing post-blight Ferelden, Unfortunatley while the princess-consort had hoped to quietly watch over the kings realm until his return things are far from tranquil.

The deposed queen anora mac tir busily schemes and stirs unrest despite being locked in a tower, rumors abound that an exiled Arl(or is it arlessa?) stripped of titles and land is abroad in the free marches making connections and buying mercenaries possibly waiting to free the imprisoned queen and depose her Grey warden rival. meanwhile Arl ceorlic argues and opposes every decision made by the current Kings council.

Denerim has become a city filled with plots and intrigue and it will take all The princess consorts skill and cunning to hold her husbands realm together and keep her life and throne doing so.

not sure how feasible such a plot is but it would be awesome if something along those lines was created, oh and if theres any modders reading go for it!!

I'm voting for gryphons just in case Bioware reads this thread. why cause doesn't seem like it needs much work and it fits into the DLC = more loot model they have right now.

Gryphons!

I'd vote for a DLC where you find Morrigan and that Old God, but they're probably saving that for the sequel, which is perhaps a good thing. I'd also be interested in a DLC that follows the end of the game, but they'll probably have to deal with too many variables depending on how the story actually ended (either that, or declare some choices canonical before the sequel), so I don't think that will happen. Aside from this, well, seeing some new lands could be interesting, whether it is Orlais, Tevinter or something else.

I can see there being another Companion DLC perhaps, but I don't expect much outside of the vein of what we've been given. Which is all good and fine, I'm just craving more storyline.

I'm holding out hope for a major expansion announcement, perhaps sometime after ME2 launches.

A new companion who's a bit like duncan(mentor, grey warden, know it all) and maybe a orleis expansion because i complete the trial of the crows quest and im suppose to meet them in orleis after the war which kinda made the quest feel like a waste of time.

1. I would really like to see one or even two new potential companions, that you can get early in the game, perhaps already during the first quests (so that you don't feel you have to do half of the game with Alistair). A a male mage companion and perhaps a female warrior. With their own stories and background, and also romance options (M/F).

2. Additional quests and optional story lines (maybe more options for endings of the three main quests that is now in the game)

3. New areas, Orlais and Sten's homeland

I would like to see DLC companions that have some mix of class/race/personality that fill gaps in what we currently have. So I'd like to see a female Dwarf (perhaps Warrior - weapon and shield), a male Elf Mage (perhaps with arcane warrior spec), and a female Elf (perhaps Warrior - bow). It would also be nice if at least one of them had a personality that was compatible with "mean" player choices, as currently options for bad party composition seem much more limited than they are for good party composition.

Of course if they wanted to make unique race/class progression companions like Shale that would be okay too, I guess.

For additional origins, some that I think would be neat:

Human - Commoner (Warrior/Rogue)
Elf - Dalish [Keeper's Apprentice] (Mage)
Dwarf - Warrior Caste (Warrior)
Dwarf - Surface Dwarf (Warrior/Rogue)

Yup the number of companions is far too limited. More mages and rogues please. Also the game lacks good side quests. Most can be completed within 10 to 15 minutes. The games too lineair since most areas are mandatory.

I'd also like to see some more impact from the origins story. Once you start Ostagar the games pretty much the same no matter what you picked.

I'm going to make some suggestions based on (a) the fact that it will not likely be possible to continue the adventure beyond the epilouge, (B) it would be hard to expect a new companion or a new origin story that is very integrated into the game and © we're not going to deal with huge expansions.

So I have these proposals.

1) Expand Denerim. It's a big city but not a lot of areas. Let's expand upon this. Create a few more districts.

2) Go back to Lothering after it's been overrun. Maybe you could even code it to give another chance to get Lil or Sten if they missed the opportunity.

3) Add an adventure somewhere in the middle of the big Lake. That might be interesting.

4) Create a DLC introducing new random encounters--add say 12-24 new random encounters to spice things up.

5) An expansion pack not involving plot but adding new magic items, and maybe even some new skill trees (available via tomes).

6) Introduce some new creatures we've never heard of before in a small expansion.

Definatley a good idea, exploring denerim is pretty much confined to the market district and a few side quest areas till later in the game. Don't get me wrong i love the areas in denerim that we visit later in the game but for an area that is meant to be fereldens largest city it would have been good to explore it more earlier in the story.

I wonder if you should have been able to do Landsmeet after you saved Eamon?, without having to have all the allies together/main quests completed. This would have got you into the main storyline alot earlier, you would have learned alot about Fereldon earlier, and could have actually taken Loghain on 2-3 main quests and forced a major plot twist at the halfway point.  All you would have had to do was change some dialog at the end. Just have Anora say go gather the rest of your forces and meet up with Riordin at Redcliffe..and your off.

Anyone think this would have worked better? You don't get many of the best items and Loghain so late, you have no main quests to do with it all, just the endgame and a couple side quests.
