My Xbox is connected to the internet, and I sign into Xbox Live - I can browse the Marketplace without any problems. However, when I start DragonAge up it hangs at 'Contacting DragonAge Servers...' for an age, then fails and simply sits at the title screen without any of the options appearing. The second that I disconnect my network cable from the Xbox all of the New Game/Load Game options appear, and when I plug the cable back in again the "Contacting..." message appears and they dissapear again.
Troubleshooting on the DA website appears to suggest it's either DLC related (I haven't downloaded or registered for any DLC) or Xbox Live related (I'm able to browse the store and play online over Live in all of my other 360 games)
Can anyone please help?

Its regular, that all options disappear while connecting to the servers. They will reappear after you have been connected to the DAO servers and after DLC / savegames are checked. Possibly just a network problem at your side? Did you try it more than one time?
Anyway, if the servers are not available the game should automatically go back to the "offline mode" warning you that not everything will be available in this mode and that you have to be logged in to xbox live . Hard to localize the problem. Tried a HD-install?

It seems that today everything is OK - I'm so confused, but I guess I'll just live with it
