Bioware there's a lotta ppl calling for infiltrator damage bonus nerf

 If you do decide to screw over cloaks only working ability and you do decide to nerf the damage, then please make invisibility count again.  Make it so enemies can't see u unless it's a boss - I.e primes/banshees/atlas and teched out enemies I.e nemesis coz they have magic sniper sight/hunters coz they have hunter mode/brutes coz they can smell u. The rest of the enemies should have to wait until cloak wears off b4 they can detect u. Unless of course they are in very close proximity to u when u cloak. In which case they fire on ur lat known position.

Agreed, however if you don't want someting nerfed then stop posting about it. Out of sight out of mind.

I've always been in support of Cloak > Damage Bonus.

It's a Tactical Cloak. It should be used tactically- not as a sudden boost in DPS with no regards to Weapon Weight. That's what we're supposed to have the Soldier class for.

I do not remember an occasion in which an enemy opened fire at me while I was cloaked UNLESS he saw me using the power. With that said, I don't want Tac. Cloak nerfed at all.

Agreed,if they decide to nerf the damage then re-add the invisiblity to not get seen when you're solo
or at a certain distance around the enemies.

Wonder how much until people start complaining about Vorcha Bloodlust, and the super-fast regeneration of health.

They can't complain,Vorcha's die too easily but if you have the skills you can survive pretty well.

If they nerf tactical cloak, they have to nerf BEs. My AA leads in points just as much as my SI.

Maybe people should just stop complaining and learn to enjoy the game. Half the nerf calls are for guns that aren't even the best guns. It really doesn't make sense.

You know the main issue with all these nerfs is because when they aren't playing that class and someone else is, they get outscored.

But then again what does the scoring system matter if this is a CoOp game and it gets to be put in a total and given out to everyone at the end of the game?

Maybe if the game gave more support points, then people wouldn't cry for nerfs all of the time.

Oh my god. I would never ask for an ability to be less effective. There is no valid reason for people to ask for a weapon, ability, class or mod to become LESS effective. This is a multiplayer co-op game. There is NO downside.

I played a few gold games yesterday. First game I played as an infiltrator and got the highest score. The second I played the new engineer and got the lowest score. Do you know the difference between these two games? NOTHING! Everyone in the party had fun, got the credits/full extraction, we played as a team (reviving and doing objectives as fast as possible), and no one mentioned anything about the pointless score.

Please BioWare do not ruin the tactical cloak.

They should leave Tactical Cloak alone, I like the damage bonus.

The problem with tactical cloak isn't the weapon damage at all, it's the mind bending stupidity of the bonus damage extending to powers tht breaks the ability. It's the only class that gets such a bonus for powers (and it's a large one too) and it unbalances all damage based skills given to an infiltrator. Every damage based power would be automatically better on an infiltrator, which is stupid (including grenades).

I get that the damage bonus represents giving you time to make a critical hit, but why then does it work for powers like sabotage, energy drain, proximity mine or sticky grenade?

it's really unfun to play on a team of three infiltrators with a vorcha. you can see their gun doing twice the damage as yours. you know enemies are coming up on your side. you expect your teammate to handle it with his raw fire power. instead he cloaks and sits behind cover....just sits there. that leaves me getting shot to pieces again.

Honestly, calling for a nerf is just silly at this point. I would rather see them spend time fixing other classes to bring them up than make this class unviable with the nerf bat. (btw, I don't play infiltrator).

Mhm...seems I've just discovered are rare and threatened species here...someone who not only play the multiplayer for fun, but also someone who understands that it's a team game.

I'm sure you understand that for the purpose of not dying out I need to catch, kill and disect you. Okay with you? :P

i wouldnt mind if they did nerf it. its more about balance to me. it would be ok if they buffed some of the combat classes.

It's hilarious to watch this type of player when the rest of the team goes down.  They totally panic because they have no idea how to play when they can't so easily hide in a remote corner of the map.  They usually spend a minute or two just running around without firing a shot before a mob catches up with them.
