It feels as weak as a drell, so something is definitely not right with it.

The adept feels much the same.

I had put it down to learning curve and the amount of time they are out of cover using things like Lash.

Thank you for posting this....because this didn't feel right to me either. Both my Humans and Asari Vanguards have the same health and shields spec'ed to max, and the numbers are the same. But they do seem a bit more durable then the Phoenix. I was wandering if the slightly alternate play style I do with each was the problem. But even at Biotic Charge with all four, I could tell some thing was off.

Been noticing the same thing. I'm starting to suspect they don't gain from certain fitness evolutions, maybe not from any of them. Let's keep this thread alive and hopefully Bioware will take notice and confirm or deny this.

A lot of stuff is off in this game ever since the "patch". My Asari Justicar specced for 40% DRfrom Reeve, 40% DR from bubble and in cover and in bubble with reeved target was getting shredded and she normally takes little damage in that situation. She got ine shotted by a pyro. This game is broken.

If this is the case, then that's troubling.

And bump, more people should share their experience with Phoenix health/ shields.

Same here, I tryed first a PV and then a HV, just to see if i was getting dumb, but the Phoenix just can't have the full shields/life from fitness.

I hope it won't end like the Krogan rage, because as it is now i feel like that more than deserters, they have been kicked out of cerberus, because they s**k

Wow, I was thinking the exact same thing the last couple times I've used it.  I hit the deck from basically getting touched eventhough I have maxed fitness and I can't understand it.

I'm wondering if the shields are bugged too. I've ran through ravager bile and it took me from full to 0 two steps later. Never seen it drain my life that fast.

I think it's both of them, they're honestly weaker than a Drell. So many glitches..........

I've already made a thread on buffs for the phoenix, is it okay if I use this as additional support?

I have a feeling QA is toooootally skipped on these DLC's. A bad feeling.
That why a poor Vanguard was going down immediately last time.
He was all like: "WTF? I was at FULL Health!"

Damn, this explains why I've been going down like nothing with the new vanguard class. I thought it was perhaps due to the different style of the class. Thanks for the heads up OP + video!

Yea, this explains plenty. This can be an amazing class if the Health and Shields weren't bugged or whatever.

Any PC players out there that can get video evidence of this?

I've played tons of Gold with an AA using full Fitness and she seems infinitely more survivable than the Ex-Cerberus Adept with (apparently) the same shields and health.

Well in all honesty a melee build is a pretty legit choice on this character anyway, so I'm glad I read this topic. Respec time!

This would actually explain why the phoenixes have been dropping like flies in the games I've been a geth in... THE GETH can survive better than a VANGUARD. /LOGIC ERROR

Yeah...definitely can notice no difference between getting shot at by a rocket trooper with no fitness and full fitness + shield III. You still lose the same amount, as shown above in the video...kinda dumb.

So what else is bugged? ULM for SMGs, Justicar Passive, Vanguard when not hosting, Ex-Cerberus shields, Krogan Rage, and possibly others, no?

The Phoenixes are really squishy.

Which is weird since they're supposed to be CQC classes. You think they would be more able to stand up there and duke it out.

I knew there was a reason why I can't stand the new Phoenix classes... you know aside from Smash and Lash both being terrible anyway.

Now I can add a third reason as to why they are garbage.

1) Smash animation too long with no DR.
2) Lash physics are extremely erratic and it doesn't set off BEs on armored enemies.
3) They have no health/shields. Literally. They are made out of paper and duct-tape. *bugged Fitness tree/incorrect listing of HP/shields.*
