Played the game several times and it seems there is a missing piece of info about him, anyone know where he was born? Hasn't been mentioned once.

He was born in London, UK. He mentions a few times to Shepard--I believe once over the comm link, and then once when they see each other on earth for the final battle (I could be wrong about the latter). I'm pretty sure you can even have Shepard make a response to cheer him up along the lines of "you can show me London once this is all over and rebuilt".
EDIT: I was looking for a video source and found one, though it only contains the part where Anderson says he was born in London--the rest is just silly.

He was born in Soviet Turkmenistan. He only said that about 4 times. How did you missed that?
