Most things depend on the player. Bad guns can be better than some good guns, when a good player is set next to a bad player. I could say that the Black Widow is a terrible gun and needs to be Buffed.. if I just sit there and shoot up in the sky.

But the Krysae, in the majority of cases, will make the game MUCH easier for MOST people with less effort required- and, in fact, diminishes even the Gold difficulty.

I agree with that last statement, except the part where "

Um, a lot of the people asking for a Nerf tried the game out with the Krysae because they wanted to use the gun. Then found that it was overpowered. You're making a kneejerk accusation. Like, "you're just butthurt because you KNOW it's overpowered and requires no skill and you don't want Bioware taking away your Cruise Control Cannon".

I don't care how many times you post this, I will continue to post that it depends on the player.   Its not OP for me - I do just as well as with the claymore.  There is no doubt that it is easier to use once you get used to it, but I can do just as well with a claymore on my GI.

Also, people have posted OP speed runs on gold with the right PEOPLE with existing weapons

The assumption that because Gun Y can also do just as well as Gun X it follows that Gun X isn't overpowered is another fallacy of logic. To return to my Mortal Kombat example, Sonya also had a blockstring infinite that got nerfed. The fact that you could do that with Sonya pre-patch takes nothing away from the fact that you could also do it with Kabal. Both characters were OP because blockstring infinites are OP.

So in this game, maybe the assumption to make is that both the Claymore and Krysae are OP in the hands of an Infiltrator because the Infiltrator class is OP.

^ this last part: That would be the logical extension of your argument.


Edit: btw, I never played Mortal Kombat, so that reference does not help me.   The ME2 example of mattock under Arush is an example of OP that I do understand, and this rifle is not that.  Because it broke the game mechanics it was about twice as good under Arush as it should have been.  If you don't understand that, well you never played ME2 soldier with Arush and mattock.

Just one thing for food for thought. Have you Pro nerfers forgotten how much the factions have been buffed? Do you even take that in consideration before you demand that [insert] weapon be nerfed?

Lol I don't know why people even complain about this gun,I can slaughter with the javelin by quick scoping and I'll still get more kills then people with the krysae.Same with using the Cerebrus Harrier,it's not that hard to get a higher score then people using this gun.

Don't really find them much of a threat at all lol it is GOLD after all phantoms were ALWAYS easy to kill.I can kill her in two shots with the javelin while it takes 3 with the krysae.I can kill her in a matter of seconds as well as the atlas (heck I can kill the atlas faster with the Cerebrus HARRIER then I do with this thing,its disgusting aganist boss sheilds)

People that are against a nerf should think more before replying in this or any other topic.

Players that want a nerf are NOT jealous because player X or player Y gets more points - they're pissed that their Krysae's is ruining the pleasure of the game for them.

It doesn't require a lot of skill to use this weapon and Krysae is turning Gold into Silver. Now, I don't know how about the rest of you, but I ENJOY challange and that's why I tend to play on Gold - not only because I want more credits.

Credits mean nothing when the game becomes boring and it definitely becomes so when bunch of infiltrators equipped with Krysae own everything around.

What's the point in playing game that isn't hard enough to give you a pleasure from playing it.

I know that I'll summon some gold digger or mp completionist that needs to have every weapon avaible in the game on X level, but not everybody is like you guys.

Most just want to have fun and a decent challange and Krysae is definitely ruining it for us.

yeah it's not overpowered. it's needed now to solo or duo thanks to some horrible dev deciding to add more spawns to bronze and make the shield mailslot shot impossible and just the game sucks now. ghost recon is SO fun... get it on steam. ubi is better than this i have endured too much abuse from the devs. I don't like playign with strangers or waiting around and bronze and silver used to be fine as is. Didn't need more enemies and removing headshotting on some bosses or the guardians. Go check youtube at all the hate for that last patch.

they took the pleasure out of bronze and silver adding tons more enemies and nerfing headshots on some. Some people don't play with strangers. I play alone alot and the game allows it and it was challenging before, but the new changes just make it suck. This gun at least I can snipe a bit better. If the devs were smart they'd just put things back how it was.  It's like the think people will play this forever and find people to play with.. when the people you can find now are totally worthless.

I agree the Krysae is easy to use but I disagree the rest.
Well Gold is currently harder for 3 reasons:
 * Big targets have no more weak points
 * ppl are testing new classes and suck at it
 * with N7 match making you usually keep everyone as it is so long to play

I know that a lot of ppl can turn Gold into an easy mode but it's not new, and it does not require the Krysae.

I love the idea of having new guns that can actually be used (even more after the Kishock nerf of death).
That being said, I rarely run the Krysae because as it requires no skill at all the satisfaction is low and because many other weapons can out perform it.

The Krysae's synergy with Tactical Cloak Rank 6 multiplier is unbalanced.  It's much less of an issue on other classes.

Entire Krysae synergy with cloak is broken. You can shoot while cloaked(hold trigger, turn cloak on, run around a bit, aim, release trigger) and even abuse this to shoot two times in rapid succesion.

That and 500% damage bonus combined with breaking the shield gate for one-shotting rocket troopers, nemesis, et cetera.
