I've been unable to download the new patch since its release, though I have recently downloaded the Ashes DLC.

I get the error code 117 and the standard "An unexpected error has occurred" message.

I have no active firewall and don't seem to have any other internet problems. Origin is up to date too.

Any suggestions appreciated!

Working now. I changed nothing, restarted pc, now works. Origin is very temperamental!!
