Edit: I just realized you haven't even unlocked them so this just makes the whole situation pointless.

I dont have to have the weapons to know they are overpowered. Just watching people use that god damn sniper sends a clear message. Im not crying at all, i really couldnt care less. If they dont get nerfed fair enough, but i can see these guns being over used if im honest, and i find it quite funny i got such a horrible response from people.
Yes, yes you do. Especially considering you don't even have your uncommons maxed out. The "horrible" input you're receiving is because you're incorrect and this is a meaningless nerfcall.
Wait, i have to have uncommons maxed to know about this game? My mistake, ill be sure to do this before posting again. I have witnessed this gun on gold, you can take out enemies stupidly easily. The Reegar isnt so bad because of its range, but seriously, i do have eyes and a bit of knowledge. I dont have to have got a load of stuff from packs to have an opinion

Chews ammo and has a very limited range. Even at range, it does very little damage.
High damage, high ammo consumption and very limited range is fine.
Leave it as it is.

While Krysae and Reegar are good weapons they are far awayfrom being the best. They are just really easy too use and more players get good results while using them. Kind of like the GPS.
And Krysae and Reegar are very dependent on the class using them and the situation. Krogan Vanguards with Reegars are beasts, but a Human Soldier with one will probably get killed trying to get that close. The Krysae is only very powerful in the hands with Infiltrators who dip heavily into Sniper rifle damage bonuses, but on other classes it's nothing special. The Reegar you have to be up in someone's face to use it, while the Krysae is only highly effective in mobs and chokepoints, such as the camping room of FBWGG or spawn points.
Not only this but, the Krysae barely scraches the Atlas. Not to mention a Guardians shield.

It seemed "ok" against the Atlas, but that was with prox mines. As for Gurdians, you can just shoot the ground behind them/to the side of them and it's as if there wasn't a shield there.

I still prefer the GPS, it has range and is a lot more fun.

I havent even got these guns yet but i know for a fact how overpowered they are. I really dont want this game to turn into something like CoD when you join and everyones using the same gun because its overpowered, The Reegar carbine isnt so bad because of its short range but the Krysae is frankly ridiculous. You dont even have to hit the target. Please nerf them a bit, so we see more variety.
I lead a lot of teams at work. One of the things I often say is that decisions should be guided by fact, not fear. The same applies here. Tell me, do you see an overwhelming invasion of these weapons nsin a given lobby? Cause I sure haven't.

STFU nerf-ragers. I have my Reegar I and Krysae II, and I want to have some fun with it.
Too powerful for you? Nobody forces you to equip it. Afraid that soon all the pubs will be a Krysae fest? Find some friends and do a private match.
Geez, finally a gun appears that I can load and play more casually without giving my aim too much thought, and because some stupid whining I won't ever be able to enjoy it.

Nerf reeger so we don't be like CoD and we are back to what? Mass Effect 3 Multiplayer? You mean that game were everyone capitalizes on heavy pistols and sniper rifles?
Big deal.
Reeger and Kyrsae invading your lobbies like big badasses?
Welcome to 3 months ago, where lobbies were invaded by black widows, valiants, carnifexs and paladins.

If you're routinely successful on Gold, it means lot of credits. Lots of credits means most weapons will be maxed out or close to it. Everyone is entitled to their opinion but it doesn't mean their opinion has to be an educated one.gigliani60 wrote...

As is, the fact that it can't fire through cover doesn't matter since I can fire over targets by about a foot and still hit them.

At the very least they should make the Krysae the heaviest of the sniper rifles. It does similar damage to the Black Widow with less weight and AOE to boot. Plus it is rare instead of ultra-rare.
impossible we all know explosive weapons weigh less then water pistols

The Krysae on the other hand is a tad overpowered, but there are ways to nerf it without making it useless.

Hey, here's a suggestion if you don't want to give aiming much though: DON'T PLAY A GD SNIPER.

I completely agree with this. I was playing Firebase Goddess against reapers(w/ geth engineer), and it took me three ****ing shots to take down a cannibal. Took me 4 shot once due to hit detection issues;)
