However one could argue that the goal of many multiplayer online games is to attempt to close the skill gap between 3L337 players and Noobs to make it fun for everyone, especially since, i don't know, but i am going to take a shot in the dark, 90% of players are probably casual gamers.

This means that a noob with a Kysae X can hang with a L337 Geth Infiltrator w/GPS X.
Thus acheiving a skill gap balance.

And since in bronze the Krysae X is essentially overkill, it doesn't really benefit much over other weapons.
What I mean is this, if a trooper has 500 health and the.....Carnifex X with Barrel, etc. does 500 damage, but the Krysae X does 5000, well.... they still both kill the trooper just the same.
Granted the Krysae takes out a whole crowd and takes down bosses faster..... 
But i think you get what I mean.

Here's some challenges I would like to see.

Kroguard with a Reegar X vs Infiltrator with Krysae X.
Kroguard with a Reegar X vs Kroguard w/Claymore X, Talon X, Wraith X.
Geth Infiltrator w/GPS X vs Infiltrator with Krysae X.
Infiltrator with Black Widow X vs Infiltrator with Krysae X.
Asari Adept w/ Paladin X vs Infiltrator with Krysae X.
Valiant X vs Krysae X
IMHO Only the Infiltrator with the Krysae is even remotely close to being called OP.
The Krysae on any other class without those sniper/tact cloak bonuses isn't really that great.
Also the Reegar on anything besides an Infilitrator or Vanguard isn't really that great either since those are the only two that can easily get in range.

But supposedly Tact Cloak was nerfed to hide you less effectively. But I mostly only use the cloak for the damage bonus anyways.

Actually till they removed the weakspots, Carnifex was taking some bosses faster (Atlas comes to mind, Prime for sure).  Krysae doesn't do headshots. Krysae cannot kill Cerberus trooper with one shot (on Gold). Reegar is real crap against anything with armor. I really don't understand what's the fuss is about.

Oh, and in general BW III vs Krysae X on Geth Infiltrator? BW wins by about 20-30% in final score (sorry, I didn't have X to test )

I hate my Krysae and Reaper Carb   they are overpowered IMHO,so much so I never use them any more and if I join a team that uses them will leave  the game,I like MP to be enjoyable and these weapons ruin the game for  myself and other players.


I guess you could say we have have a choice ie use them or not,or leave/stay with  a team that uses them,simple really.

Reegar is crap against armor, and has no range. It is balanced enough for the risk that is involved.

Krysae? It requires no aiming to sweep the floor. Gold Reapers didn't stand a chance the one (and only) time I used it. Everyone saying it is fine just doesn't want to have to go back to using weapons that require effort to win.

The Reegar will melt a Banshee in a couple of clips. You're not going to do it while she's teleporting, but once she's on the ground, she's dead meat.

ya can't really say the weapon is OP/UP if you don't even have either one. That kind of statement should be said by someone that actually has experience with said weapon/weapons.

 They just nerfed the Krysae like, yesterday....  As for the Reeger, it's severly limited by range and ammo capacity.  The gun only works within like ten meters.  Outside of that, it does zero damage.  If you had used it, you would know that.

Y U Nerf Krysae.....AGAIN? ;n; I can still get a small use out of it with equipment and class and ect but it doesn't have the kick and fun it used to I mean come on a Turian sniper rifle that's cool, now I have to use the BW and other guns on Plat and Gold, idk maybe I'm the only one that though the Krysae (and other nerfed guns) were just fun to have and useful for saving another player's ass. Why you gotta be nerfing mayn?

 After reading other post about the reegar being so overpowered, I tried my level IX reegar out again for the first time in ages (since I first got it). I played as a Krogan Battlemaster, which I don't particularly like as a character, but he has lots of health and shields, so he makes a perfect character platform for using a close range weapon like the reegar. IMHO its still the same piece of crap of a weapon it was before and I have no plans on using it further. It kills pretty quickly but still has the lag before start of its spew and it still runs out of juice too soon between reloads. Just don't see it as being overpowered...sorry.

IMHO the game is pretty well balanced as it stands....sure I have favorite characters builds and weapons I like to use, buts it due to experimenting with things and finding synergies that work not because any one thing is tremendously overpowered.
