I just recently purchased dragon age origins ultimate edition and before I start playing it I wanted to read about it to understand it more so I don't make any errors in building my blood mage. I have decided to start with Leliana's Song first for the battledress. My question is - is the battledress only good for the main character - obviously it does me no good as a mage or can I give it to another character that can actually use it. I appreciate your reply and I also will take any mage tips as I am a newbie at this game.

Any character that meets the strength requirement can wear it.
