 Sorry if this has aready been answered before, but I'm too lazy to go through the forums. So here's my problem: Ever since the patch that came with the Rebellion Pack (the 6 MB one) my game checks for downloadabl content forever. I get to the "PRESS START", press START, the game checks down content once, checks save data, then checks down content a second time. The second time it checks is, of course, the problem. Now, I have done some research, and it turns out some other people have experienced this with the first downloadable pack, Resurgence. Some of them said the game fixed itself, while others of said it takes 5 reboots for the game to actually work. I've rebooted the game 8 or so times and the game still doesnt load. I've asked the Mass Effect twitter, done some forum trolling, rebooted. Nothing sems to work. So I've come to you, Mass Effect 3 Xbox 360 Techical Support. What's the problem?

The dlc may be corrupted. Have you tried deleting the rebellion dlc and redownloading to see if it correts the issue?

Side note : Aliens don't exist.

I am having the same problem and I have deleted the DLC and then downloaded them again and I am still having the problem

This happened to me for about a week. In the case you have the EA/Origin Auto-Login OFF, disconnect the internet connection, boot the game and you should be able to reach the options menu and turn the Auto-Login back ON. Connect again your console to internet, sing-in and the annying once indefinite sign should be gone.

Frankly I feel like something is going on with the DLC. A XBOX friend of mine mentioned that on the packs release day night there was a complete server shutdown. To me that would explain why I have gotten into the same game with the same person (playing by himslef) 3 times and getting put into a firebase goddess game surrounded by Pyros twice in the same day (Patch release day BTW)/ Lately my number one gripe is how come I am not getting any new guns or characters? I have been getting normal stuff and no DLC stuff. Not even from resurgance. Ive seen people with the new stuff and I find it very unfair that I havent obtained much of anything other than some gear stuff while others have the carnbine, krystae, and a DLC character while I have been getting a spamage of the bloody Gerral spike thrower. Frankly you shouldnt have to reboot your system 10 times to get the thing resolved. Rediculous! It's already bad enough the last victory pack gave me a hornet upgrade when it isn't even a N7 weapon. i lately feel like the packs are bugged and need to be fixed stat. Or heck, the DLC itself. NOW!

Huzzah! Thanks for the suggestions, friends. It's quite unfortunate that this is even a problem. A few in game bugs is understandable, but being completely locked out of the game? Hopefully Bioware fixes this in the next patch, so people who are ignorant to the internet don't get locked out, and have clue what to do.

Maybe i should try this so I can get some DLC items. However honestly BIOWARE should be as smart as ACTIVISON and at least try to do a repatch either by next week or by the end of the month as opposed to waiting two- four months from now for a new patch to fix a big issue.

Just to update my info on this subject: I clicked off auto sign in and had the same issue occur. I had to shut off my router than turn the sign on back on, dashboard, turn my router back on and reconnect to XBOX live and I was able to have this fix my problem and I actually got the krystae sniper rifle once I got the 99,000 box. I am speechless. I still say something is seriously going on with the DLC. The DLC shouldnt be doing wierd things even when my auto sign on was even on. I still felt like the packs were bugged since all I got were non DLC stuff.

I still wonder why my Gural spike thrower and Scorpion vanished after the first 2 3 weeks of the game got released from my multiplayer gun list.
