I, on the other hand, do not miss her in the slightest. With as often as she's been pushed upon us, I haven't had time. She was a great character, but I'm suffering from extreme Witch of the Wilds and OGB overload. The only character who has been thrust down our throats more often and more unpleasantly is Leliana. Enough.
How was she forced on 'you'? you could tell her to go away and you don't have to have anything to do with Ogb.If you didn't want her aroud you wouldn't of kept her around but you did because subconciously you love her too.
Ot: I have mixed feelings...I loved her as the warden but now that that's out of my hands, it won't be the same level of emotional attachment with a new protagonist ya know? Sure it'll be great to see my old flame "again" for sentimental and reminiscence reasons but that's about the extent of it.Well unless the rumors are true about the new protag being a child of morr then that would be just creepy....

Ever find something that you like in small doses? Morrigan is like that for me. As a companion in DA:O, I did like her and don't hesitate to recruit her, even if she does spend most of her time in camp. That's mostly because I play DPS mages, so she's redundant. Witch Hunt was pushing the envelope for me, but it was still OK. All the hype is pushing me over the edge into active dislike, though, which I don't want to happen.
Witch hunt was really only made for wardens who had a previous romance with morrigan. She gets alot of hype because there are alot of unanswered questions fans have been seeking the answer to for years such as her and her mother's intentions. After 3 years we still don't know who is good or evil or even if there is a good and evil, could be a evil or lesser evil or good or greater good. The franchise is certainly full of intriging mysteries.

I miss Morrigan as well. And the reason why I do and crave to see more from her is because we never got any closure on her story. The character didn't come full circle... we know she crossed the Eluvian and she's out there, somewhere, doing her thing.
Need. To. Know.
I think they will give us morrigan in a way that we will never expect

She's been in one game and one DLC. How is that too much? Heck, Anders has been pushed on the players far more.
I really don't understand how people can not be curious about Morrigan and her story. To me, it feels like those people simply don't care about the Dragon Age story. Morrigan and Flemeth at this point seem to be the keys to all the mysteries of the Dragon Age verse, so if you don't care about them... why are you playing Dragon Age?

The Dragon Age universe is more than just Morrigan, no matter how much cleavage she shows. Cue the rants about being a female player and a hater. It isn't true, but that never stopped anybody from making assumptions.
My point is that I do like Morrigan. I thought she was an awesome character and a fun companion for the time she was with us. Bringing her back and inventing a reason for her to be there at this point is nothing more than an attempt to appease the fanboys. I'd rather remember her as a cool character with world-class attitude, a trait I greatly admire in female companions, than a watered down version of herself thrown into the script for no reason other than to have her show up.
I am not naive enough to believe that she *won't* make an appearance, if that's any comfort to you. She will walk onstage, twirl around a few times, say nothing of any import, do nothing of any significance, and she'll leave. Her entrance will probably be dramatic, accompanied by an improbable body count ala Leliana, so you'll know it when you see it.
Considering how the import flags worked out, I would not expect any mention of your Warden, more's the pity. My Warden was female and a BFF rather than a LI, but I'd like to think Morrigan followed her progress. She hasn't had many real friends in her life.

If she were that important to the world and plotline of Dragon Age, she would not have been killable.
You don't really think she's dead just because of a little wound, do you?
Giving you the oportunity to stab her was just to make the scene a little more dramatic (for when she comes back, angrier than ever).
We never saw her body, after all, and she fell right into the Eluvian, who knows what was on the other side.

Oh come now, just because we don't like one of your favorite characters, we aren't "real" fans? Be serious!

Other characters die because of the murder knife. I don't think BioWare would overrule player choice like that. Not after the flack they took over all the resurrections in DA2.
Yes, if Morrigan comes back, regardless of whether or not the Warden killed her, then we'd better see Anders returning as well!!

now you said the murder knife, correct? did you kill any one of the companions with a murder knife and see them die? hence why they are alive and someone at the end of DA2 is dead and possibly others that turned on you. considering the rage over Leliana being alive they probably did change it as of DA2.
