From one atmospheric PS3-exclusive to the next, Naughty Dog's new IP,
The Last of Us, also helped Sony stand out from the other publishers at
this year's E3. The game, a postapocalyptic survival adventure, proved
that it is possible to construct a meaningful relationship between two
protagonists that can grow organically as the game progresses without
sacrificing fluid and immersive gameplay. While the demo of Last of Us
focused on an action sequence,

Naughty Dog stressed that the game will
aim to combine exploration and environmental puzzle-solving with the
action to allow the relationship between the two characters to develop.
It was refreshing to see game protagonists who reacted realistically to
their environment and circumstances, displaying both visual and audible
distress after an encounter with an enemy while engaging in contextual,
intelligent, and natural dialogue.

You should be glad it is only for the PS3--means it is better optimized. When they make them exclusive, the graphics look so good. Uncharted, Metal Gear Solid, and Killzone all look awesome because they are exclusive. I can't wait to try out the game. From looking at some of the trailers, it will probably have some Uncharted gameplay, which is a plus in my book.

They have never let me down yet and they understand that games should be fun. So what I am saying is I like their games.^_^

Yep. Both Naughtydog and CD Projekt RED are one of the only few developers left who actually know how to add an compelling story to their games. Uncharted and The Witcher are two of the best story-driven video-game series I've played!

Well I been a Naughty Dog fan since their days of Crash and Jak. Uncharted is like those games but with more guns, humans and story.

And this needs to happen.

I'm more or less in agreement but this looks more unique.  Apperantly these ones are based on plants and look really scary.  Whats interesting is the human element it seems other people are as much a threat as the zombies are.
This gives me a I Am Legend feel too it that makes me really excited for this game.

Plus there's that whole Naughty Dog making this and so far they haven't steered me wrong.
Though I'm surprised this isn't a racing game lol.

The zombie genre has been beaten to un-death and back again, but maybe they'll put a new spin on it. Sure, the company has put out good games before but I don't have any faith in any companies, anyone can toss out a bad game so I won't be holding my breath.

I really want this!

Anyone played Resident Evil outbreak te first one? Where your in the hosital in the middle of a forest and those planet like zombies are around? This game reminds of this.

I am really looking forward to this!

Edit: Has her face changed or something? There are no freckles.

Oh and these zombies are the fast ones it seems i don't like the music at the end, sounds cowboyish.

I understand from just glancing at my post. The word Zombies jumps out at you making you turn away in disgust. I ask anyone in the interest of fairness to actually look at the video before saying their judgement. This indeed has a "I am legend"

Where a grown man and a young girl who appears to be his daughter struggle to stay alive. Not just against the creatures but against other people. It looks like a mature action thriller just from looking at the video. I know the zombies thing has been done to death.

However I believe at least with this title their is more then mindless shooting at zombies to stay alive.

Are there any gameplay videos out yet? I'd like to see how this will distinguish itself from games like Dead Island.

Nothing yet but I am told that it will be linear based like Uncharted

PS3 only? Meh.

By the way, Dead Island distinguished itself from other zombie games by its Borderlands-inspired RPG elements. I don't think it would have been much fun without it.

I disagree. It's an awesome but technically flawed game. Luckily the patches pretty much cleared up the technical problems.

I got a feeling that this game, like uncharted, will cost 65 bucks, and last us...7 hours tops. Hope I am proven wrong, my PS3 is collecting dust.

Yup, I used to play it so much online. I wish they never closed the servers or else I would still play it some every now and then. I'm kind of getting that vibe, but its more shadowed by the fact that they are definitely using the Uncharted engine or something. When the guy shoots behind him, he looks exactly like Nathan Drake.

Uncharted 3 is almost the only thing that goes into my PS3.  The multiplayer is so addicting and they are still updating it with new game modes and there is a huge community for it.
7 hours only if you hate muliplayer :P
