The gameplay looks interesting. Love the "I Am Legend" type of environment.

Same, but i hope there is some variety. Spec ops: The Line is a completely different game in a completely different environment but what Spec Ops does is make Dubai almost ethereal, like it's some dream world due to it's vibrant colours.

I hope the city is not the only place we visit and i hope green is not always everwhere. Perhaps some weather changes?

Will likely be borrowing the little cousin's PS3 to get my hands on this at some point.

I might have to do something like that, or perhaps buy a used one from eBay and then sell it after completing the game. I'm a sucker for good post apocalyptic environments.

Do video game rental places rent out consoles these days?

Haven't been disappointed in a Naughty Dog game so far, and Last of Us looks good since I saw the first trailer a while back. I like the emotional approach this game seems to take towards the apocalypse setting.

It looks nice, but I'm getting a little tired of 3rd person cover shooters.

I've seen previews and thought it looked quite interesting - almost makes me wish I had a PS3 but I'm really trying to stick to my budget until I pay off my current splurging (technically, having to buy a new laptop was not a splurge - heh).

It's the little things that hype this game for me

The context sensitive voice clips, the clever AI that seems to have multiple modes of behaviour (both enemies and Ellie), Joel doesn't just soak up bullets; single hits WILL knock him out of cover, stealth options, non-linear areas, etc.

There's simply unimaginable amount detail

I'm really hoping the inventory system has a heavy RPG crafting system implemented. I've been dying for a true survival game like this. While it's a little more actionish than I'd like, I can't complain. I was impressed by that demo. Finally a survival game where I have to think and conserve ammo? My dream game!

Also, it's worth noting Tomb Raider is another game that interest me. The trailer shows so many :"survival" elements like finding a bow and hunting deer. Or making a fire to protect against exposure. Not clear on how much survival will play into that game though. I do remember devs talking about it being a big part of gameplay. I can't wait!

No Regen health and I love little touches like how Joel hast to get into the backpack physically to get into the inventory. And it looks like there's some sort of crafting mechanic.
This is right under Watch Dogs in anticipation.

This is what I AM ALIVE was supposed to be. Knowing Naughty Dog's track record with Uncharted, and the influence is obvious, there have to be other characters than just Joel and Ellie. That and the task of going from one end of the US to another end makes it clear that we're in for planned sequels.

Man, this game looks epic.

Too bad we are going to pay 65 bucks for it and it will only last us 4 hours.

If we 100% it.

My experience with big games these days is that they are not "worth it".

Sure, it might be all cool and fun...but if it doesnt last at LEAST 20 hours..and I mean, I am comprising here, 20 hours?

Oh well, I will wait for the bargain bin I suppose.

Or maybe the game will be super long and epic, who knows.

Quality > Quantity IMO.
Uncharted is short but so sweet.  I'm replaying the 2nd right now for like the 10th time.  There might be replay value.
And your being a little harsh saying 4 hours.  I haven't 100% any of the Uncharted and the singleplayer campaign is 9 hours at least.  Not to mention all the hours I've spent on the multiplayer already!

Yeah, I'm still not gonna put all my hype into this game. It looks amazing, but I was semi-disappointed with Uncharted 3, again great game too, but lacked something that Uncharted 2 had (which blew me away).

Though, new IP/new theme/different vibe, so hopefully they don't try to go the whole "Action/Hollywood" style of Uncharted.

I watched some Day 2 E3 gameplay earlier and I am very envious of PS3 players.

The first time I saw this game I was blown away, but upon seeing its just another zombie survival game I am not that impressed.

Can you point me to the zombies in that gameplay footage?
Wait those are humans how is it just another zombie survival game with humans again?

Other than the debut trailer they haven't even shown zombies since.  Maybe look at whats shown instead of think oh zombies no thanks THTHTH

Has anyone pre-ordered this game?
