Its hard going back to the system in ME 2 with biotics.

Did that after ME3 demo and that movement(sprinting etc) was just clumsy.

Yep, because ME3 truly dumbed down the biotics. Nearly every power can set off detonations. In ME2, you had to think more tactically with which power to use, because each one filled a unique niche.

Eh, I don't really think so.  ME2 made you rely way too much on Warp since it could damage practically anything, while the rest of your biotics were basically useless until health was stripped.  ME3 actually lets you use your abilities more, and they still fill different niches.

I agree with Walla, in ME2 biotics didn't really have much of a role outside of warp until a target had its shields/barriers/armor destroyed, and by that point a bullet or two did just as well (or less, if you had a sniper rifle)

I'm using a sentinel build and I forgot how throw really isn't that useful in me2. Warp is way too powerful. Not to mention all powers are useless till you strip defenses.

Biotics had a balanced role in ME2.

It wasn't as if tech or combat powers applied their CC affects on protected enemies (except for Flashbang).

As for throw, it was more efficient to kill a single enemy with Pull/Throw then to do Pull/Warp for an explosions, due to the difference in cooldown times. Many people miss purely physics based attacks in ME3.

I still prefer the ME2 combat system overall, including the biotics.

As far as I'm concerned, ME2 had the best combat of the series and ME1 had the best roleplaying elements.

Biotics does seem a little overpowered in ME3, but stripping away protection tediously on every opponent in ME2 was not fun. I would prefer ME2 biotics if we had ME3 protections and movement speed.

My approach to Adept in Mass Effect 2

Singularity to drain shields.
Warp to remove barriers and armour.
Pull and throw rarely used.
Shockwave used to get enemies behind cover.
Energy drain to remove shields and stay alive.

Approach to adept in Mass Effect 3

Warp to set up and detonate explosions
Throw to get enemies out of my way and detonate explosions.
Pull to drag enemies towards me and set up explosions
Singularity to trap enemies and set up explosions.
Shockwave sometimes used to deal with enemies behind cover.
Cluster Grenade: Used on enemies with lots of hit points.
Energy Drain: Used to remove barriers and shields and to stay alive.

With biotics in Mass Effect 3

I set up and detonated more biotic explosions!
I detonated tech bursts! (thanks to energy drain as a bonus power)
I detonated flame explosions! (thanks to EDI)
I detonated cryo explosions! (as a vanguard)

Hell to the yes!
