Since when do we expect Bioware to pull a full-blown DLC out of it's ass in less than half a year? Even August is quite optimistic, if you ask me. Rather wait till October or better yet, simply wait till it's done. Another rushjob doesn't help anything.

Well, yes. Considering summer starts on the summer solstice, thats when... summer will begin. And yes, of course the seasons vary, but Bioware was undoubtedly referring to the northern hemisphere seasons seeing as how they are in Canada.

Summer in the northern hemisphere runs June 21 to September 21. Don't be surprised if the EC doesn't roll around until after people go back to school.

Maybe in Edmonton, but Montreal gets a summer. I spent 2 weeks there during the summer of 2008 as part of an internship. It was upper 80s the whole time. I'd call that "summer".

i dont really care about the extended cut. i didnt mind the ending even though it was not as good as it could have been but the ec wont fix the broken journal, lack of real side quests, auto dialogue, me2 romances and so on and so forth. so while its a nice gesture had they should have just spent more time on the game and they have to do this in the first place. now you have developers who think that their main fanbase hates them and fans who think that bioware doesnt care about them anymore.

So I too have the Collector's guide and would like to know why Mac Walters interview caused a fuss. I'm not being sarcastic, I'd just like to know why, being that the main statement I had an issue was seeing him advocate "streamlined" and "more economical" dialogue wheel choices. I did however see the fuss with the common pillars. Coming from a person who loves ME3 and has wished Bioware nothing but the best, I couldn't help but notice some off in the section. Exploration in ME3 was incredibly linear, where as ME1 was practically free roam, even if it wasn't much it was the epitome of exploration. Yes, the story lines were interactive in ME3, but comparing it to ME1 and games like KOTR or DA:O the dialogue options seem barren; ME3 had great moments, which should be noted. I'll agree with the action and combat system, as that is where ME3 truly stands out as it has the best of the three games. I know this comes off as critical, but, like I said, it's hard to defend that section blindly.

Anywho, I'd like them to focus on quality rather than speediness. Granted, it's not truly Summer yet the wanting for more clarity and closure is still simmering on high.

 Wow, I was so blown away by the ending and the EC announcement that I completely forgot about the different season and time zones. And I thinking they would release it in 7 months.
