My guess is that they wont announce it in advance but just announce it when it is ready for download, the same thing that they did for the most recent multiplayer DLC. Then, it is either people jumping for joy, or the s*** hits the fan.

I'm certainly not going to put any pressure on them to get it done. Running against deadlines is a lot of how we ended up here in the first place. If they take longer then maybe, just maybe, it means they realize that they need to actually address the problems. I'd hope that at this point they know that a really poor EC will result in a mass exodus of fans.
