Hurt them a LOT.
You can manage it with heavy firepower, probably easiest with BEs or grenades.

I saved a KroGuard with a Cobra about half an hour ago because I already had it out to nuke a spawn. But pretty much anything that staggers her will work.

Rocket? Biotic explosion? A powerful enough shot to stagger her?  Ducking away and praying that the other Reaper forces will kill the guy before she finishes her animation? (Because then a punch through the gut is apparently not fatal enough not to be revived anymore...  )

My reaction can not be posted on these forums. Banshees are cheap garbage, especially when playing any of the immobile classes. And even when playing the more mobile classes they are still B.S., teleporting through walls and instantly grabbing you, grabbing you from ten feet away, etc. Utter garbage.

Yesterday I was using the N7 Shadow that I just unlocked, and I got a little nuts on that shadow strike power... It was the extraction wave, and I targeted the Marauder just to the left of the Banshee that was coming so I could refill my shields. No I ended up hitting the Banshee. I dodged frantically, briefly seeing the start of the magnet hands animation, but I skipped away just in time, only to have it keep dragging me back. I just kept dodging and dodging and eventually got full extraction. I lol'd.
