You see the point. His video shows a team with very powerful weapons, all mods, and at least one player with a super fast DPS boost/auto-reload skill. Again, take the same team with any other super hard hitting weapon and you will melt faces. However, it isn't in his best interest to do that, obviously.
In the end it doesn't matter, you and I and many others will get sucked into helping out his cause. All he wants to do is keep these threads on the front page, because BW will not read all of the thread. They will skim it and eventually say, the players want a nerf, and then nerf it. That is his goal, although I honestly think it is also an ego thing for him to have soooo many people respond to his posts.

For the people who say "Just don't use the gun": This game already has three levels of difficulty. It shouldn't have guns that allow you to downgrade those levels and keep their rewards. If you want an easy time, play bronze or silver, knowing you will get fewer credits. Gold means a great reward for a great challenge and the challenge part shouldn't be optional.
That being said, since trivializing gold matches lowers the income from the online store, I'm fairly certain the gun will be nerfed, with or without the player's approval.
I play gold even when my team and I wipe out at level 1 or make it to extraction. Bronze and Silver are warm up or level up at best, and eventually a snooze. But, I'm not a massochist. I like to get the most credits for my time. Reeger does not change that for me. So, I don't sympathize with your view at all.
And, I don't see Reeger trivializing gold at all, or N7 weapons.

That's great, and every character does shoot in this game, but you should remember that the game has several classes focused around doing exactly the opposite of that. All adepts, engineers, some vanguards, the human sentinel--these are classes whose role and design is generally to use instant-hit or homing powers. They're awfully popular classes, too. Perhaps the Reegar is a gun for them, and perhaps you should expand your viewpoint to consider these types of players.

Sure. Even without the bonuses gained from Hunter Mode, the Reegar melts everything apart from banshees/atlases/primes. At least that's my experience with it, I don't know how others use it.

A little hint; if you are going to make an argument, try something other then saying "It's broken!" fifty or so times. He didn't even try to come up with a counter-argument to the range issue. Just more "This gun is overpowered/broken!" and more pointless whining.
I am not going to make a judgement call if or if not the gun is balanced but I do know this video is not going to convince anyone of even mild intelligence.

THIS! If we take Stardusk's view, a lot of things will need to change to be consistent with that view. Many players will lose their fav classes and the game will lose it's differences with other games.

It was the start of wave 11 and they just respawned which means they were still closer one to each other. I just charged them and got the kills.

Permenent as in they don't disappear. You can still unequip them, they are still equipment. Also they get in equipped automatically after a game sometimes. I want to see him use a bare reegar carbine without any helpful things do he can't see what a basic carbine can do.

He was using a GI, think cloak dmg and hunter dmg. I've killed two hunters that lined up with a claymore with my GI, must be be time to nerf Claymore!

Oh, because getting that close to an enemy is nearly suicide on Gold for people who aren't SKILLED enough to do it.

You have to give a trooper a reach-around in order to kill them with the Reegar.

F**k no. Go play GTA on easy mode if you want to win without much challenge. Or any sandbox games on easy difficulties.
There's no need to learn some tricks and tactics to beat gold challenge?

Just because there's no PvP in ME3 multiplayer, it's not a good excuse to have imbalance.
CoD is worst example of Co-operative/Teamplay Game, since your buddies in it will likely leave you to death because there weren't enemies for few seconds ago.
