I used the gun. Then I put it away and used other guns. It does not ruin the game for me. It's one more thing to have to play with.
AND, if you think it is OP, what about Mauraders who I put 4 shotguns shells into their face at point blank and they just keep going, NO STAGGER, from a Disciple. How about head shots that do only 2 or 3 bars of shield damage? Don't get me started on the Geth and their staggers.
Reallty, something is wrong with the mechanics in this game on the enemies side.
The Disciple occupies the other end of the broken spectrum. It is brokenly horrible. Why would you use it?

Only 100.000? With a KV and Reegar? That's not a lot.
I was playing with very good players, everyone was using the Reegar. I also got instant killed so sat out a wave. And this not about the score if you actually listed to my argument. It is about point, don't aim, die.

You were 3 manning Gold and didn't score more than any skilled player could score with a BW or Valiant or Claymore. And even the time wasn't that fast. This gun doesn't require alot of practice to use, but you need skill to survive up close and not be killed or insta-killed.

I support Stardusk's idea to make it less effective vs. armor. After all, it is a weapon that fires an electric ray. Now why should that melt armor? And as it doesn't shoot ammo, ammo buffs should not work at all on that weapon.
And to the guys that hate nerf threads. I do as well but this time I think that gun makes the game too easy and thus boring. And it makes it too easy for the whole team. It won't help just not to equip the weapon on your own character. If it's in the match you're playing you are screwed.

I'm not really seeing the problem?
You have a close range gun, on a very durable character, on a close range(ish) map, killing things at close range - isn't this all as intended?
If one has optimal conditions for sniper rifles: infiltrators with sniper rifles, on a long ange map killing things at long range - does that make them the most broken weapon(s) in the game?
If you took the Reegar to Giant, and had everyone in the sniper room shooting the far spawns, how would the Reegar compare then? Bottom of the score list - should i do a video and demand it be buffedso I'm not seeing the problem. It's meant to be brutal at super close range, much like a sniper rifle is not, and visa versa.
Personally I'm just sad the store won't unlock it for me (15 PSPs and counting...) to try myself.

As for the constant "oh, it's overpowered" I can say that almost every other weapon is that too when you have like four buffers on it. If it becomes boring to use, then you always have the option to NOT use it.

It is my opinion that you should keep your opinion about other other people's opinions to yourself, but I didnt keep my opinion to myself either.

Because guns like Graal and Claymore are OP. Too many things get one-shotted. You only have to aim once, very little skill required. With the Disciple, you have to headshot many times just to kill a mob. Its damage also drops tremendously at long range. Takes real skills to use this gun. Graal and Claymore, not so much. Just like the GPS, for newbies only. Oh yea, and it doesn't take a lot of skills to use Graal and Claymore.

Fixed. No need to curse at people on a public forum about a game. You seem to be getting too worked up.
Yea, this thread makes no sense, until you will make a video of using reegar on on giant, all sitting in control room. And then try to say "oh, its overpowered... or at least it 's better than my favorite claymore". [Greatfully] Anyway, human, thanks for letting me have fun on you, cuz you really look like a 3yo child whining about his older brother, who's being given a better toy.Stinja wrote...

I still don't get it. It's not a PvP game where a really powerful weapon would be bad but it's not. It's co op. you have the option to use it. No one is forcing you to use it. There are much better guns than the reegar e.g the claymore, gps, falcon, krysae, black widow, javelin, geth heavy melee. Why nerf a weapon that only works in close range. If it worked at any other range i would call for a nerf. Sou solution is make it the same weight as a gps or claymore no shredder mod on it and buff damage slightly and decrease fire rate.
