I'm rattled, and I believe rightly so.  Normally I would have just equipped my stuff after finding a game, but ever since they implemented the whole joining midgame thing, I've been setting up my equipment before even looking for a game.  Today I applied a level 2 ammo, level 2 rail amp, and level 2 power efficiency module (all of which I had JUST obtained from a Jumbo Equip. Pack using my credit card.  

So what happens when I go to join a game?  I get launched into a game that's in it's extraction wave... so not only is there 0 potentential for me to make credits or any XP above 10k, but all my equipment is effectively rendered useless and is wasted on a game that I get to be in for 2 minutes...  It just isn't fair that bioware is selling these things for real money if the people paying keep getting screwed like this.  I already had to contact them before about losing too much equipment due to server drops when Resurgence released, and they helped me then, very kindly... I'm just so sick of contacting them

I liked it better when every match was a new match, now almost every game I join is wave 5 or higher... that isn't right or fair.

I'm actually the opposite... I would love to join a game in progress wave 5 or higher! Hasn't happened to me. I'm always stuck waiting for people to ready up who end up dropping mid game and leaving a 3 man handicap match.

But in your case... I think joining an extraction wave with equipment is a little overboard. I hardly use equipment before a lobby in case something like that happens.

I joined a friends game thru an invite and it was wave 10. Not only did I get the money round but I also net 133K XP in 1 round. That worked out nicely for me haha.
