I just finished for the second time me3 but for some reason the Long Service Medal Achievment has not been unlocked!...
I really do not understand why:(...

is there anything that can be done to finally unlocked it??

Play through the game again.

I know that sounds piffy, but that's what happened to me. The achievement is supposed to pop after completing either a new Shepard on NG+ or an imported Shepard. It didn't pop for me after the NG+ with a new Shepard, but popped on completion of a NG+ with an imported Shepard.

That's my own experience anyway.

Did you use the same character for finishing the game the second time or did you create a new character for your second playthrough then finish the game? The two ways I know you can get it is from importing a character from MASS EFFECT 2 to MASS EFFECT 3 or playing the same character you beat the game with for your first time for a second time as well. Creating two differant characters and finishing the game twice (in theory) will not get you the achivement. It has to be the same character and class.

What I did was importing the same character with whom I finished the game the first time. As a matter of fact the second time the biotic powers were already developed.
I did not create a new character, but the second run I played as a renegade and not paragon..
