Recently I had to reformat my computer due to a virus. In doing so I lost my Dragonage characters but somehow kept my achievements and unlocked speciliazations. Now that I've started a new character I'm trying to unlock shale. The quest for him came up in my downloadable content section and I clicked to install it, it got to 100% and it says installation failed. I'm using the same bioware account and I cant redeem my code for this account again. Last time the code worked fine and I had downloaded shale this time things dont seem so easy. What should I do? Help would be much appreciated.

I looked in there but I couldn't find anything about this particular situation considering it actually says installation failed. I read about people being stuck at 100% but not it saying installation failed

Things to try.
* Is your My Documents folder in a non-standard location, if not move it back to the standard location on C: and try to install again.
* Forcing a redownload of DLC data (section 3.3 of the sticky)
* Manually installing the DLC (section 4 of the same sticky).

Ok I'll give that a try. Whats even weirder is that the blood dragon armor downloaded fine. Then again that was my first time using the code for that one.
