I recently upgraded my monitor, from a 1680x1050 resolution to a 1920x1080. Loading up Mass Effect 3 starts out in 1680 (since that's what I had last played it at) at a solid 60fps. Increasing that resolution to 1920x1080 drops me to a shocking 10fps. Not just in-game either. Even the main menu runs at 10fps.

I've run the 'repair install' feature of Origin, the game is fully patched with the latest DLC installed. What's causing this issue?

My PC should easily run this game at 60fps, even at an even higher resolution than 1920x1080:

i7@4.4ghz
16GB RAM
Two 2GB GTX560 Ti's in SLI
Installed on a 2GB 7200rpm hard drive.

DXDiag below (spolier tags don't seem to work, sorry):

Hyperthreading is already disabled, and resource management isn't the issue. As I said, I drop from a solid 60fps to a solid 10fps. It's not stuttering and occasional drops, it's a consistent framerate of around 10fps. Just for raising the resolution one notch.

Bizarre.

Yes thank you I can read. The point was meant to be there is something wrong with your system and the posts give some solid leads to pinpoint possible AND very common issues.

If you know that resource management isn't the issue, verified that and know all about it and checked if you could not gain from ways to optimize it I'm afraid there is nothing I can tell you what you don't already know. I'm just wondering why bother posting?

btw. I vaguely remember some issues with SLI, maybe look into that.
