I would imagine the only 'bioware' thing to be discussed is Generals I don't think DA3 is far enough advanced to have a decent E3 release and I think it very unlikely that they will announce dlc there.

Interest in this game is going to have severely waned by the time they get this EC out.

If it actually takes - as some are guessing - until the end of the summer that will be a 6 month wait for something that doesn't even contain gameplay. I dunno, maybe they can still hit this out of the park but if I were a betting man.........

In other news, it has been confirmed EA's Dead Space 3 will contain 3rd person cover shooter mechanics, universal ammo, and gun fights with unitologists, so much for survival horror.  And another game gets remade to try to be like Gears.

Yes, that's the point I've been making. Why would it take even THREE months if it contained no gameplay? I am pretty sure that EA and BioWare (Mostly EA) are playing the fans right now. They are hoping that by not announcing anything, the EC will be a raging success when it releases, due to the massive anticipation that has built up. Personally, I think that's a really horrible tactic, but EA isn't the only company ever guilty of such practices. BioWare wanted six months push back on the original release date, but EA only gave them three, which is why ME3 was released in March. That's a fact.

You have just convinced me that at some point during this presentation EA is actually going to spend time announcing DLC.

I wish e3 were in New York instead of LA so people would actually boo when something is boo worthy.

E3 2012: The Amazing Spider-Man Game Tied to the Symbiote, Doc Ock
But they're not in the game.
by Greg Miller JUNE 4, 2012

IGN brought you a deep dive and exclusive trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man earlier today, but we also updated our Spidey Wiki with a Scorpion bio from Activision. It's pretty normal stuff talking about his tail and claw, but the character's origin is fascinating.

"...Oscorp physicist Dr. Otto Octavius dug into Curt Connors’ research as quickly as it became available to him. Not satisfied with simply infusing human DNA into a highly venomous black fat-tailed scorpion, Octavius also threw in a touch of a mysterious, organic “black goo” of unknown origin, which Oscorp had recently retrieved from one of the company’s fallen satellites in secret. The result was Scorpion..."

Not only does Doc Ock exist in this universe, but so does this "black goo," which has to be the symbiote that goes on to become Venom in common Spider-Man lore. What makes this so interesting is that Amazing Spider-Man Producer Doug Heder talked extensively on Up at Noon about how Marvel and the movie folks had to approve everything in the game and that the game had to stay away from villains Sony Pictures might have plans for. So even though the Activision bio reads "This bio is intended only as back story. Neither Dr. Otto Octavius nor the “black goo” appear in the film The Amazing Spider-Man or its videogame," it's establishing a world. It's canon

Basically, the game could be establishing the fiction for the sequel to The Amazing Spider-Man movie, and that fiction now includes Doc Ock and the symbiote in some fashion.

Closing other E3 threads to this one.

We have confirmed there will not be discussion of the Extended Cut at E3. Watch E3 footage (Gametrailers.com, Kotaku, etc) to see what/if any other BioWare news or other cool game news is announced.

The fact he's not outright dismissing it could mean mass effect could at least make a small appearance, right? Right!

He only dismissed the showing of the extended cut, he didn't say other Mass effect content won't be shown.

Ah well it's on now, guess we have to wait and see.

Was excited to see Sim City from Maxis, but disappointed that nothing else was shown by BioWare outside of TOR.

Maybe they were nervous that they might get booed. The near silence on TOR, even when they announced f2p (sort of), should be telling.

I mean seriously. B/w Battlefield 3(which I play) premium, another Call of Garbage, Ghost Recon future soldier which was just released, and now Medal of Honor, how many more military shooters do we need?
Between that and NOTHING in regards to Mass Effect news at all, This E3 flat out sucks...
