Holy god. I have to have Watch Dogs. That makes up for how disappointing Bioware is/was at E3.
So..... E3 2012.... hmmmm

Watchdogs looks like one of those games that will obviously not live up to the early footage/promise. It was running on a high-end PC so console players shouldn't be getting moist just yet. Unless it gets pushed to X-Box 720/PS4 I don't see how it could possibly deliver everything it's promising on console.

I actually hope for DA3 news.
Doesn't have to be gameplay, but at least some info on it would be nice.
DA3... the idea of them continuing to make bad games hurts.

I do want to see DA3 but I don't think anything was announced of actual importance regarding Bioware.
Oh I also want Fallout 4 to be announced with Rideable Motorbikes....
But that'll never happen...

I'm more worried about people's willingness to buy said games.

There's also C&C 2 and that free Warhammer PVP thing.
But take a step back and think about new IPs:
- 2005: Jade Empire
- 2007: Mass Effect
- 2009: Dragon Age
What happened to Bioware after 2009?

Seriously?
You do realize it takes actual people to develop video games don't you? Or that both Mass Effect and Dragon Age were in the early stages of development prior to the release of Jade Empire?
The studio's that made Mass Effect and Dragon Age spent the next 3-5 years further developing those series.
Bioware does not have unlimited manpower with which to continously just keep releasing new IP's every 2 years while continuing to develop their existing franchises.

The same place logic is in the end of ME3. Gone.

Yeah and I posted the year those games were released, if we still haven't heard anything about a new IP it means none is coming for the next year or two at least.
If they have the money to hire Martin Sheen and what's-her-name from 'Chuck', and spend millions on ads, they have enough money to develop a new IP like Jade Empire that they created with a smaller budget than a ME3 cutscene.Bioware does not have unlimited manpower with which to continously just keep releasing new IP's every 2 years while continuing to develop their existing franchises.

Because the point being made was moronic.
The studios that made ME1 in 2007 and Dragon Age in 2009 went on to make ME2 in 2010 and DA2 in 2011 and ME3 in 2012 as part of a long term plan for BW to create and develop their own franchises. That manpower is thus no longer available to go around putting new ip's together as it is now being utilized.
Are you really saying BW should just keep releasing new IP's, using infrastructure and developers they don't have, every 2 years just for the hell of it?

After 5 years, they should start releasing new IPs, because milking the existing ones for the hell of it is not working.InvaderErl wrote...

Mass Effect seems to be done (Main series wise) so we might see a new IP after C&C2 and DA3 comes out. The team that worked on multiplayer might still continue to make ME spin offs or something though.ItsTheTruth wrote...

They haven't milked anything yet. Mass effect was meant to be a trilogy and Dragon Age is only two games in.ItsTheTruth wrote...

In case you were not "playing" stupid again: last new IP was DA in 2009 and with nothing announced at E3, 2014 is the earliest we can expect a really new game from Bioware, so that's 5 years already.InvaderErl wrote...

So unless you can provide me a means in which video games can suddenly be developed with nonexistent manpower I suggest you start to think over what you're actually saying.
