Things you have seen and not liked

- oversized hands and weapons
- some weapon animations and lack of bowstrings
- inventory system and item distribution (I'll have to wait to form a final conclusion on this. Magic items don't seem really rare to me. We'll see. I' m hoping that my oppinion on this will hcange completely)
- attribute and level system (it's counter-intuitive for me that a regular warrior has around 15 in physical stats and at the high end you get like 50. Some strange distribution there)
Those are really minor dislikes (except for the weapons... I feel like someone punched me in the eye every time I see them). Can't wait for the game

I had hoped there would be weapon sheathes attached to belts.
Its something I have hoped for since Oblivion actually since I first thought this game would have that. That was a small disappointment, and so was any other game that could have this feature such as Fable 2, Fallout 3, etc.
So far I only saw it in Assasin's Creed but that is limited to a single playable outfit and about 20 kinds of enemies. By that logic it should be making it to RPG's in the upcoming years.
Its something small but its just an annoyance, just like it was when weapons where pulled out of thin air and where never visible when unequiped.

Exactly! For example, as a 'traditional archer' I can't really imagine using such enormously huge bows... You know, even the most powerful English longbows look more delicate.... although that doesn't mean that I'm not gonna use them in the game, I like bow shooting too much to abandon themLotion Soronnar wrote...

- PC is mute, I was under the impression that they simply hadn't added the voice acting into the game-play videos I had seen. If indeed the PC is mute I will be very disappointed, part of what made Mass Effect my favourite RPG was just how involved the dialogue felt, it's too bad BioWare chose to go the other direction with this title.
- Gameplay wise, again I have to give props to BioWare, Mass Effect and it's real time action combat was great. I know that this game is using a different style of combat, something similar to the old KotOR games, or MMOs like Guild Wars, and WAR:AoR, and don't get me wrong, I loved KotOR, but still, real time action oriented combat would have been great.
- Graphically the game looks slightly dated. Not a reason to ignore this game, but certainly something that warrants disappointment. Moreover, the cinematic looks unpolished but actual game play footage has looked sluggish and rough, something that may take away from the experience.
- Only one Human Origin, I'd have liked another but alas it was cut. Oh well.
So yeah, after all that negativity I just want to follow it up with, this game ought to be great and I can't wait to play it.

Content lock. Adding the DLC to the disc would have delayed the game.Eoweth wrote...
Day One DLC. If it's ready by then it should have been part of the base game.

You dont' get to forge mighty blades of legend without spending half your life behind the forge.
So any combaination of having a player being a legendary warrior AND X (where x is a craft that requires dedication, time and resoruces that don't mix with being a warrior) is something to be avoided.

outdated graphic is reasonable thing becouse they are making the game a loong time and they cant just put new engine in game at the end or at middle of process of making the game...and its better that almost everybody can play the game on their computers both for popularity of the game and for sale ofc.... than put some crazy specifications so half the ppl need to buy new computers:D...

Better without blacksmithing. It's jsut stupid.

- Lack of multiplayer
- Hopefully there is a "medium" blood setting. Blood also shouldn't "explode" from a cut.
- I would have likd some higher resolution environment and armor/weapon textures. At least have this option available like some games do (i.e.: Sacred 2).
- No dodge and parry animations and the PCs don't seem to react to the other enemies hitting them. They seemed to do a really good job handling this for the sith warrior in The Old Republic, I wish that could have transfered over here.
- Character model issues: huge hands, needs to be more aestetic choices
- No Bowstrings

Tbh, you should be thankful that this was intended for consoles as well because otherwise there would be no Dragon Age AT ALL, seeing how small the PC-Market is today. It wouldn't be worth the fonding necessary for a game like this if if would be just a PC-Project. Very few titles can afford to be PC-exclusive nowadays (like Diablo). For a new franchise it's not gonna fly.AnkaVanka wrote...
I dislike the lack of multiplayer. I dislike that it is ported to consoles, because those resources could have been better spent making multiplayer support, and that the release date for pc was pushed back to match the release date for consoles. I dislike the look of female leather armour, the lack of hip and waist curves on females, and that arms and hands simply looks oversized.
