I finish downloading the game, hit play and an error pops up saying app failed to start because physxloader.dll not found.
Says to re-install, I have and still no luck

Strange. I have the issue too, and I tried to install the newest PhysX drivers. Game gives the same error. Do I have to restart? The driver installation didn't specify. In any case, I am already re-installing the game.

im pretty sure you have figured it out by now, but what happens when you first download the newest drivers, when you run the .exe program it uninstalls your previous drivers. You need to make sure to open the .exe file again after your old driver is uninstalled, this will install the new drivers. This still didnt work for me. I restarted the comp, and then reinstalled the newest physx driver again, and this seemed to work for me. Not rocket science but it got my game to work

1. You are in the wrong forum, so you are "Off Topic" {a month ago, there was only the one forum available for Draxxus, and this thread has not (newe edit "had not") been moved).Gustobsbsbs wrote...

2. It makes no difference whatsoever what video card you have, really. The PhysX for CPUs works best with the game, and is included on the disk with it
3. Now, if you will please go to the correct forum, .(User to User tech, inappropriately named "Tech Support", which it is not) or perhaps send your PM to a moderator to move the thread.
Thank you.

It says "six hours" from where I sit, with my eyeglass correction, so it seems to me it's you in need of a new prescription, especially if you need to answer twice to say the same thing.

Sorry but I was just following links a PhysXLoader search of the forum. I would EVEN be here if I didn't have a problem. I'm trying to build a game computer for my kids for Christmas.
Now, go check your elitist attitude.

I ran into this same problem and couldn't uninstall / re-install because it kept giving errors when doing either. What worked was to copying all the physx .dlls out of my physx folder:
C:\\Program Files (x86)\\NVIDIA Corporation\\PhysX\\Common
into my game's bin_ship folder:
D:\\...steam..\\dragon age origins\\bin_ship\\
That solved it for me.

I'm aware this thread is a year old but I had the same issue the OP had and looked in several threads for information to fix it (and tried nearly everything.) Pretty much all I found was a bunch of elitists treating everyone like a bunch of morons while simultaneously giving obvious solutions, so I registered just to make this post and to thank cancausecancer for solving my problem - I copied the Physx files into the bin_ship folder for DAO and finally some success. Thanks again.
