I totally understand your cake dislike, I'm not really a fan (I DO have a softspot for some, like mud cakes though, because), however, I do love chocolate. Disliking chocolate is confusing, it is the ONLY candy I like, so it is my candy vice.

 

People do REALLY weird stuff to cakes though, like put jam and cream in them so, totally with you on that one.

 

So, you drink beer, I eat chocolate instead, guess we need to call this one vice-equal.

Oh the horror. I will agree with Pearl on this. I love chocolate (and I'm a Finn, we don't talk about the L word, either of them. ). However, currently it looks like I'm again allergic to the cocoa in it, so I'm stuck with white chocolate for a subsitute. And yes, I know it is not chocolate, but it's a substitute. I'm ok with cake but I hate any and all frosting or cream.

I also really like wheat, but allergic to it. I like tomatoes, but allergic. I like oranges and other citruses, but ... you get the drift.

So, for the MP confession goes: I take my food-love-turned-into-anger out on the enemy and idiotic pugs.

Good god Arktinen, you sound like my parents. One was diabetic and allergic to gluten. The step-dad was allergic to corn and anything with corn/corn-syrup.. Between gluten and corn lies basically everything that is awesome that you can put in your mouth. >.> <.<

Dalakaar, ooh yeah, I actually like corn in all forms, and I'm not allergic to it! (also good with fish. And water and little pebbles, which sometimes seems the only things to eat.)

And indeed the damn nuts. I love nuts. Can't have 'em. mmmhmmm hazelllll and almond.

 

TeaKrogan, I would so agree with that,^ and have agreed with that, sooo much, during university years... I hated beer but liked vodka. Haven't had any at all for years. Just got fed up with it.

Cough. On white cocolate not being chocolate. Let me put it like this : you bake an egg, eat the egg-white part but not the yolk. By that previous logic you also have not eaten egg. Off course it is chocolate. With sugar which is also in brown chocolate.

I know you can't pronounce that L yourselves - but it is divine - so
I'll just say it - Liquorice. There.
In Europe/Middle East ... they still use fermented sweet root(medicinal for respiration). Hence it unique taste.
The rest of the western world 80% is flooded Liqorice chemically made by m&f (power / burner business), simply mixing in anis, for a near similiar taste. Did you know that salty liqorice have no table salt but sal ammoniac to it that distinctive taste? Now -guess how we made ammoniak in the middle-ages. Hehe. Liqorice making is a very old tradition and my confession : my volus prefers the traditional sweet L.

I love hazel nuts too! Luckily I'm not allergic to any of these stuff. Also I like beer fine as well as vodka. But my preference is actually for red wine.

Once you had tasted real liquorice there is no turning back. So be warned. My volus' BMI is totally warped because of that. Warp Ammo exasperates it.His other volus friends makes fun of him. Read yesterday the Real BMI calculation is inaccurate over 30- so he might be longer than measured.

I mean the leap from L word to Liquorice (yeah I got it but still, some leap).

And well, generally the chocolate associations and the famous/esteemed chocolate makers consider white chocolate not actually 'chocolate', despite the name, because it doesn't contain cocoa mass or dry cocoa powders. White choc is generally made from cocoa butter, sugar and milk products (+ vanilla or vanillin etc. for extra aromas). That's what I meant when saying white chocolate isn't eally chocolate per se.   One could also say that the really cheapo brands of chocolates don't even contain cocoa butter, ether, for costsaving or other reasons, but I digress.

 

ontopic confession: I played bronze the other day when too tired for anything else, but had to get a small MP fix. And I found it too easy, although relaxing in that mindset.

I have no such allergies. Mine are limited to pork, coke, coffee and the Reegar.
