Honestly?
Yes. A seems every 2nd person nowadays. Some will visit us for a few days next weekend. Finnish couple- long time friends. That means that my grill will become very unhappy with me. It also behaves strangely when I grill vegetables on it. I have to swap over to the smaller brother Weber, who is just happy to get any attention. Its always great fun to have them over. But omitting meat (and eating fish, poultry or other vegetables) for 3 days is ok - it strengthens my discipline - see it as fasting- for a meat eater. After that a steak tastes out of heaven...

Ahhhhh, I never meet any vegetarians myself, LightRobot is one but otherwise I know of no one else. And I looooooove grilled vegetables Fuen!!! Your grill will thank you, not your wife but your actual grill :D Hehe :D See what I did there? I'm so funny , I know!

I've been thinking of being a vegetarian for a few months now, but I'm not sure if it'd be practical. I'm not a big fan of most vegetables, so I'd be even more limited in what I'd eat, but meat recently hasn't been doing it for me. I have no idea why. I used to love it but now I just don't. We were actually supposed to be eating chicken for tea and I just didn't want it, so got myself a cheese bagel instead. :P Yeah. I've gone off meat...

Anyway, confession:

I've used the Collector Sniper Rifle only once. XD

Lol Penguin, you should only become a vegetarian if you really feel you want to be one. Don't let anyone influence you. Like sometimes the media can influence you and say that meat is bad for you or other vegetarians but don't listen to anyone but yourself. I'm a vegetarian because I love animals too much but I would never impose it on others, I prepare meat like steak and chicken for my dog every day and I also sometimes cook meat for my family if they come over for dinner. It's simply a choice of lifestyle :)

Sorry, OT: I confess, I haven't played MP in two days!!!!!! :o

Nothing wrong with a grain-based diet supplimented by Fruits.

Seriously though, just eat what you feel like eating. Don't let lables like "Vegetable", or "Meat", or "Dairy" stop you from eating it.

Also no reason to "classify" yourself. Lables like "Vegetarian" or "Vegan" are just used to seperate us. We're all the same on the inside.

Eh... I'd never eat Duck because I like ducks too much, but other than that it's a simple case of just not liking most meats. Like when you get fat on the outside of... well basically every meat ever other than chicken and turkey, that just... it makes me feel sick. The only real meat I couldn't live without is pepperoni on my pizza... which is odd because I don't like cold pepperoni, but when it's hot or on a pizza that's literally the only thing I couldn't live without. EVERY other meat I'd be fine with leaving behind, and I'm thinking of doing that XD

What dictates whether I like a food or not isn't anything to do with taste most of the time. I don't mind the taste of most things. But it's the TEXTURE. If a texture isn't... right it just makes me feel ill. So yeah, texture is like the most important thing when it comes to my brain deciding whether I like a food or not. I could eat onions all the time because they don't taste bad... but oh my gosh I hate the texture of them so much. I'd much rather have a nice fruit drink than a big plate of food tbh. But no alcohol. I don't drink alcohol XD

I'm going to make term for this. It's going to be called a peppiztexinkatarian. "Someone who eats pepperoni on pizza, but doesn't like most other meats, along with being very peculiar when it comes to texture and preferring drinks to food".

That's what I am now.

OWA, FYI, you totally need to play. :P We need more duos. :) Our Quarian duos last time were fun. Need more of the same. :P

OH another confession: I've never played the Volus Sentinel... just never. Or the Engineer. Never tried that. Played the Adept once. Played the Vanguard a few times. But y'know, no voluses for me other than that XD

Today's first match against Cerberus.
As a Shadow my job was to backslash people. But the SI guy and the GT guy disagreed, so they kept shooting and burning engineers to explode to stop my backslashing, drop my shields to let me die in enemy fire.
Seeing their opinion I compromised and on wave 11 I stopped annoying them. I kept myself cloaked and behind cover for the entire two minutes and let the two guys to deal with Dragoons, Phantoms and Atlases, believing they could handle this like they did in all previous waves.

It made me so sad that I became the lone survivor.

You can't blame teammates for killing enemies, a shadow teammate backstabbing is unpredictable as it is..

What did you expect them to do? Hold fire every time you cloak?

You could have focused on lone enemies out of their sight

Yup I don't really play a lot of voluses myself. It's just that I'm not a huge fan of that super short view point, although it does have it's perks sometimes.  It feels kinda weird seeing everything from a bottom up perspective and I don't like it from a combat perspective.

Also I love meat, dude the fat is the tasty part in the meat. Bacon and pork chops anyone? But I understand your point though, people have different tastes and preferences so just eat what you like as long as you're getting the important stuff in (everything in moderation though).

I just die too easily as a Volus XD I've used the Vanguard and yeah, I just die. A lot. :P

No way. The fat is awful... like I have to cut EVERY single last part of it off when I DO have meat. Like me eating a pork chop is well... I have a little circle out of the middle and leave the rest XD

And finally : I'm also vegetarian - I simply like my veggies enriched by healthy cow microbrobes. Sharing for life!:

OT: I confess that I have extensively grilled stuff outside the reactor this weekend.

Well to each his own I guess. The only thing I felt uneasy with was when I went to a Japanese diner and they had some raw fish thingy, although I got used to it afterwards. And to be honest just the sight of a good cut of beef makes my mouth water in anticipation so I guess we're just on the opposite ends of the spectrum here.

to meet

hot babes.

Ftw? that's a lot of work, then - you have to win some games along the way because they have set the bar extremely high, here.
Wouldn't it be simpler to just meet while jogging, having a café and croissant in the sun, taking a dog for the walk, library, museum whatever?

You have to be the best of the best in both worlds to impress somebody from BSN

Or you only have to know the legendary penguin pick up lines. Which, as the Emperor Penguin, I keep stored in a legendary vault far from human eyes. True story.

At least prove its true, or I'm calling BS.  Nail 3 BSN members in under a month or get harvested for organic polymer.

You're right Arishok. That's a thunderdome-light contest between you two. Penguin has to get 3 women to publically declare their unequivocal eternal true love to him in BSN forum, in a week. N7P may keep his "Bah... Ram... Ewe/Babe" secret.

what are the stakes?

Well, at least it's better than having to "nail" anyone. :P

One thing you have to understand, is that penguins know all about love, and we understand that it takes time. One week may not be enough to get the desired results. Maybe in two weeks. :P I like to give myself more time than I need, just to be safe. They have rarely been tested on humans.

I can reveal one thing about my secret. It is all about how you start the conversation. Penguins know you should always start with an ice breaker. :P

...I have no experience in these things TheN7Penguin, like many others here, we'd be glad to know whether this all can simply be reduced to a quick "Just add water" recipe for all... so easy  and works everytime.
